If a track you submitted does not appear in this list, it’s probably because another of your tracks appeared in our Fresh Faves or on the BBC Music Introducing Mixtape during the last three months — we ask that artists featured on either wait three months before resubmitting to give others a chance. 

We also don’t accept short previews or SoundCloud Go tracks that can only be heard as 30 second previews, and tracks made private after submission, which cannot be included in playlists. You will be able to resubmit the track in future. Tracks (and remixes of tracks) that have been previously submitted, and tracks from banned artists will also be removed.

ALTERNATIVE ROCK SONGWRITER EDWARD SANSOM RETURNS WITH GUITAR-DRIVEN SINGLE ‘SATURDAY’.      
Commanding your attention from the get-go, ‘Saturday‘ is the addictive new release from alternative artist Edward Sansom.   Written during the lockdown, the UK artist and producer invites his following over for one last night out.
Sansom has created an upbeat, exciting track that will no doubt encourage people to come out for social dis-dancing.    The driven guitars and constant beat push the track forward and pull the listener in.   
Born and raised in Brighton, Sansom has spent his time weaving his highly-charged sound into a shape that echoes modern society.
With a dark, melodic turn of phrase, mirroring the likes of The Arctic Monkeys, QOTSA, Bowie and Foals, it’s no surprise that he has broken out of his seaside hometown with performances at Glastonbury, Isle Of Wight and Camden Rocks as well as local shows at The Great Escape and BN1 Festival.

A message from Eve :
Totally a Sunday afternoon in summer tune! But she has some guts to her.

Since the release of 'Swimming' it's amazed me how prevalent and powerful a song it can be.
The trip hop beat, created by our excellent producer Ollie(one 1/2 of ColourTelly), in some ways acts as a lullaby creating a sense of floating/jamming out on a summers afternoon. In come my vocals with a matched feeling of calm, jazzy, serene vibes, but contrasting chat about this feeling of being lost, stuck, constantly in an upward battle with the internal daily grind.
Then our boy ILLAMAN drops his verses and lawd! What a treat!
His performance and writing cut deeper through this layered cake of life with grit and raw truths being spoken even more directly to the listener.

I can't help but get excited by how beautifully the depth and realness of these elements combine together painting this picture of a very human experience. Looking fine on the outside while fighting with the internal struggles that weigh us down on a daily basis.
This is a song I hope brings strength to you when times are hard. I hope you feel seen and heard and know you're not alone through the light and shade of life. AND, if nothing else let 'Swimming' do her thing to help lift your spirit through vibrations and remind you to soothingly "…just keep on swimming"
