Multi Culti are proud to present the debut EP from Sao Paolo's Voodoohop resident, Thomash.

DJ Thomash has set up one of the most influential nights in the bazooming Brazilian scene with his Voodoohop party, a fusion of tropical hedonism and avant-garde trance-inducing European electronic music, a lively mix that no doubt has its genesis in his transplanted German roots (he's from Cologne aka Kompakt-ville). He's shared the stage with guys like Rebolledo, Joakim, Acid Pauli and more, and now finally looks to colonize the world with his first release.

Interestingly, Thomash has a degree in artificial intelligence, so while it might just be our imagination, it does seem that the rhythms, full of oddly tuned percussion and colorful synth stabs seem imbued with a distinct internal logic, playful forms that bounce off each other in their own reality, according to their own laws. This narrative of the ethnoid, German-Brazilian AI ties in nicely with the title: Candomble is the name of an Afro-Brazilian religion, meaning literally 'dance in honour of the gods.' Fortunately for us, Thomash seems to be honouring some scarcely acknowledged, far-out deities... spritely DMT-elves. Ectoplasma further plays into this reading, both in title and in vibe, floating unconcerned with material dancefloor goals into a space of peaceful imagination and spirit. Finally, Calango Fumando Palha is a soft, dreamy morning peyote-fire anthem… a healing latin lullaby to soothe troubles and set positive vibes free.

Called in to take us deeper into the trip are Multi Culti's go-to sooth-sayers DREEMS, who lead us forwards in full-chakra-alignment with the originals, bringing bigger bass into the heart of the jungle, tripping on acid, leaving us loose-limbed, wide-eyed, and open-minded in bliss as the final chords tuck us in and kiss us goodnight. Sweet Dreems!

Known by his stage name, The Whooligan, he has over 15 years of performance experience as a globally-recognized artist. From 2013-2018, he was the Director of Worldwide Bookings and Partnerships for Los Angeles based music collective, Soulection. Now, The Whooligan is focusing his time outside of his demanding show and production schedule to build on his newly formed humanitarian organization, Room Service International. Room Service aims to give-back by amplifying stories from underserved regions all over the world and activating community service projects that bring tangible change within these communities, all through the power of music. The seasoned artist, event curator and humanitarian brings a unique perspective to the music industry through service, open-mindedness and inherent positivity. As a multifaceted and genre-bending artist, he’s also shared the stage with the likes of the late Mac Miller, DJ Jazzy Jeff, Kenny Dope, Just Blaze, DJ A-Trak, Mark Farina, Tokimonsta, The Internet, Little Dragon, De La Soul, Kaytranada and more. The Whooligan’s live DJ performances permeate an eclectic, stylistic mix of internationally influenced progressive soul, funky house, disco and feel good hip hop that will mirror the energy of the crowd, his love for people and his intimate connection with the world and travel.

Whether blending two records in a unique fashion or working closely to cultivate next level talent, the common thread is his ability to see beauty in all. 
Perhaps his greatest ripple in the arena’s of music and culture culminate in his humanitarian organization, Room Service International. A group founded by The Whooligan that aims to “amplify stories and important issues from underprivileged and impoverished regions from all the world.”

Moon Boots’ debut album First Landing was a rare slow burn in today’s disposable music culture, steadily amassing a broad international following and an impressive 35 million streams since its release in August 2017. With Bimini Road, Moon Boots has brought back collaborators from both his debut album and his ambitious 7-person live show. Black Gatsby (“Power”), Nic Hanson (‘Keep The Faith’), and KONA (‘Fortune Teller’) all make appearances that help to make Bimini Road Moon Boots’ most compelling musical statement to date. Ross Clark (St Lucia) contributes guitar to three of the album’s hookiest and most affecting tracks.
