Death

and i am pried open
the heart smiling at the world 
the world pulling me asunder
as we are one in each other

walking this path, it has changed me
becoming not another but a different me

Knowledge

i watch as i crawl
away from another
piece of my own mind
and i see myself die

lost in a river, and flowing
away from my memories
misery welcomes my heart
and delusion, my mind

Disconnect

Not sure what genre this is, but I had a small amount of inspiration that led to whatever it happens to be. 

"Find your heart in the dirt
lifted by the clouds above you
with your mind set on despair
it lifts you, higher, and higher still"

another track...sometimes hope is most noticeable when you feel like you don't have any of it, when the despair, or dread, or whatever you're feeling is just so all-consuming that there couldn't possibly be any chance. It's all a little too much, I guess, and it's somewhere in that moment that you have the chance to realize that things can only get better...or maybe they'll get worse. 

"Lost in thoughts again, 
I peer outside, 
and I look towards my friends.
no answers, no care, nothing meaningful
and I know that this pit doesn't end."

Too Much

Another track. After you there will be no one left that remembers.

the memories and treasured lore

and other things we won't pass down."

I never know what genre to put... anyways, here's another track, it's mostly piano with some other stuff in there now and then to fill in the space.

Darkness, dripping from a tunnel and wrapping
around and around your limbs, nothing to do
You crawl, further and further, towards a light."

bit of a weirder one that usual today, some big angy smashing chords somewhere in there.
