Το ΑΝΙΜΕ είναι το 8ο κατά σειράν studio album του Φοίβου Δεληβοριά.

Τραγούδια που γεννήθηκαν στην κινούμενη άμμο των ετών 2018-2022, με την ψυχή ταραγμένη, μειλίχια ή σε έκσταση και με την κιθάρα σαν ένα είδος προέκτασής της. 

Ο έρωτας και η επικαιρότητα, η κοινωνία και ο εαυτός, η βία και το δόσιμο, ο πόλεμος και το παιδί, είναι μερικά απ’ τα παράθυρά του.

Ο ήχος -ευτυχής συνύπαρξη του Φοίβου, της μπάντας του και του ποιητή-παραγωγού Βασίλη Ντοκάκη- αιχμαλωτίστηκε στα παλιά στούντιο της Φίνος Φιλμ και σε ένα μικρό στουντιάκι πλάι στο Α΄ νεκροταφείο Αθηνών, έχει δηλαδή  αρκετές ψυχές με το μέρος του.

Ο τίτλος είναι αυτό που είναι -γράφεται στα ελληνικά και στα λατινικά με τα ίδια γράμματα και ακουμπάει με διάφορους τρόπους την εμψύχωση.

Πέραν της στενής καλλιτεχνικής οικογένειας του Φοίβου (Σωτήρης Ντούβας,  Κωστής Χριστοδούλου, Κώστας Παντέλης, Yoel Soto και Νεφέλη Φασούλη) και του τρομερού παιδιού Βασίλη Ντοκάκη, συμμετέχουν και δίνονται πολύτιμα ο εξάδελφος Φώτης Σιώτας και οι σπουδαίοι Θοδωρής Ρέλλος, Δημήτρης Σιάμπος, Τζιμ Σταρίδας και Δημήτρης Κούρτης. Πλοηγός στα decks ο Νίκος Κόλλιας, μάστερ του mastering o Γιάννης Χριστοδουλάτος και παντοτινός συνοδοιπόρος ο Γιάννης Πετρόλιας. Ψυχοπομπός ο Δημήτρης Μακρής. Το artwork (ένα πραγματικό έργο μέσα στο έργο) είναι μια δημιουργία του Γιώργου Παπαδάκη.

Η Inner Ear κυκλοφορεί το album δένοντάς το σε μιαν άτυπη τριλογία με τον «Αόρατο Άνθρωπο» και την «Καλλιθέα».

ANIME is the 8th studio album of Foivos Delivorias. 

Songs that were born in the quicksand of the years 2018-2022, expressing an agitated soul, meek or in ecstasy and with the guitar becoming an extension of it. 

Love and latest news, society and the self, violence and giving, war and the child, are some of its windows. 

The sound – a happy coexistence of Fivos, his band and the poet-producer Vasilis Dokakis - was captured in the old studios of legendary Finos Film and in a small studio next to The First Cemetary of Athens, so it has several souls on its side. 

The title is what it is - it is written in Greek and Latin with the same letters and touches animation in different ways.

Inner Ear releases the album tying it to an informal trilogy with "Aoratos Anthropos (Invisible Man)" and "Kallithea".

Brian Eno defined “ambience” as “atmosphere”, as “a surrounding influence: a tint”, and he created Ambient Music to induce “a space to think”. In the intervening forty-five years, the genre classified as ambient has instead generated an endless catalogue of anodyne day-spa sounds that run perilously close to the Muzak that he reacted against. 

  In Fragile States, we return to ambient’s origin story, to capture the atmospherics of our time, highlighting the values of “doubt and uncertainty” that were so present, and so prescient, in Eno’s work. Although he sought to make his ambient work “as ignorable as it is interesting”, we seek not to rescind the agency of sound. Our environments are too perilous to be ignored.  

Instead, Fragile States proposes a ‘conscious ambience’, one which is entirely in lock-step with our social and political malaise. Across 25 tracks, we find all manner of misgivings in our surrounding influences. The tint is now tainted, yet we move on nonetheless. This is ambient music for connection and purpose; a runway to resolution. Music for life support.
