Thoughts clouded her mind, mirroring the white blanket that covered the sky outside her window. She'd been gazing out of it for hours, hoping for some inspiration to hit her, but she was finding it hard to engender motivation at all. There wasn't much movement or action outside to give rise to a feeling, but she was hopeful. For now, she'd continue to gaze outside and wait for that moment...

It's not easy to keep an independent label afloat, but Cosmo Vitelli's I'm A Cliche imprint has continued to thrive for over 15 years. To celebrate the occasion he's brought together friends and allies for a 13 track V/A compilation called Bongo, Beats & Bankruptcy, that captures the label's quirks and eccentricities and touches all corners of their vast musical universe. He looked at her photo and saw her the way he remembered her forever - smiling as if it were the first time, like the first person who woke up on the first morning after creating the universe and saw the newly created world in which everything starts from the zero meridian and there are no mobile phones, no pollution of the seas, no Covid virus, no racial wars and police. It was the smile of a person who didn't know disappointment and hatred, envy and betrayal.
He remembered well the day when he saw her for the last time, and understood well that their meridians would never intersect again.

The voyage starts with floating, broken beats by our very own Jokios Kultūros. Then ИДА boss Kolomensky delivers downtempo masterpiece full of magic, which will teleport you to some exotic island, with a feeling of an upcoming storm. The Frankfurt slow vibe ambassador Tassilo, as always, delivers a dubby psychedelic track, full of subtle details. This tune is your express ticket directly to Neverland. Samo Records boss Facets invites you on an intriguing and mysterious adventure through synths and a deep bassline. Our dear friend and member of many great projects - Anton Berezin - will take you to a post-punk era with some not-so-cheesy synths. Up next is a dancefloor killer from Guatemala by Fabio Me Llaman Soltero - a mixture of arabic sounds and african drums with creepy vocals will definitely heat you up. Then an angry bassline prepared by Neud Photo during his Croatian vacations kicks so hard that it literally throws you into the medieval ages, close to the Adriatic sea and forces you to move. The massive banger by Auren advises you not to take candy from a stranger, to avoid unpleasant trips on dancefloors. A thumping, yet important message! With a track by Anastasia Zems we are moving into the jungle. The great levitating vocals and mystifying sounds invite you to discover your wild side as you move through the track as though jumping from one liana to the next. With their nostalgic, somewhat progressive house melody Anatolian Weapons guide you to the top of the Greek mountains. Try not to melt. Guitar riffs interweave with the sounds of bells to give this next classic disco track by Volta Cab a more metal sound. The rock influenced track by Wolfstream keeps your blood pressure up so you stay alive till the end of this adventure. The young talent from Kaunas – Pijus - associates himself mostly with lo-fi sounds. He jumps into our ship with a housy track, full of acid chords. Marco Lazovic knows best how to channel a melancholic mood with the help of music. Stop for a while and enjoy this moment of introspection. Broken Daiquiri by Adventure Society is a psychedelic cut which challenges you to push through and explore your dark side. Tadan, a Lithuanian based in London, dedicated his track to a skate park located in Ukraine. You can imagine yourself cruising cheekily through gavanpark while listening to it. The slowly rolling track by Shrimp Prince serves up a delicious sonic dinner from the bottom of the deep blue sea. The inscrutable and constant kick with the deep synths of Jelisejev Shedding Skin will surely plunge you into the foggy Fenland, the home of these misty sounds. Try not to get lost! Then, tribal elements and chaotic experimental sounds by Yuto Takei will grab you and zap you all the way into a Japanese rainforest. And for the last destination, all aboard the ship of our Italian friend - A-Tweed, his quirky track, boosted by Vittorio Gassman’s voice will show you the way through ancient Rome and to the finish line of this global adventure.

RADIO DINAMIKA - it's a project of a two DJs Pališkis and Karolis Urbonas, which included a weekly radio show. Name tells by itself that one of the project axis rotates around radio and all about Lithuanian and beyond electronic music culture and roots. Definitely it's not all about the radio - another axis goes with event series. In this mix RD guys collected some dancefloor action sound. Enjoy⚡️

Benedikt Frey is many. Or just one? He is a composer. An arranger. A DJ. A ghost producer. A fan. He plays in bands like INIT, or Dolphins or KEYS +++ produced the last two albums for Chris Imler. Downbeat in experimental dub zones. The goat for Edits and remixes. When house was his nation, he used to listen to pen names like Suedmilch or Venedikt Reyf. He still likes the music formed under their umbrella, but today his tomorrow is not echoed in yesterday. His sound signature moved on. Into the open. He founded labels like R.i.O. or Serious Trouble. 

He lives in Berlin. Physically. In mind Benedikt Frey is at many places. Traveling far thru his home studio that is a flat a studio a flat an instrument a record collection a flat a studio. Everywhere gear, vinyl, tapes, instruments, rooms for spontaneous sonic notions, these moments, when a sudden strike of stimulation falls. He is inspired a lot. For music to dance. Music for films. Music for live shows. Music for dancing glows. Techno, house, downbeat, ambient, jungle, electronics outside the norms. Those transportive ones. Jamming with others. Jamming with his mind. In Berlin Wedding, North of the town, where the lights dimmed low, neighbors share the flow, and a small river runs slow.  As a DJ he plays here, there, everywhere. Big clubs, small shacks, festivals, gatherings. From fast to 90 BPM - as he feels. 

For himself. For the crowd. In the spur. He still remembers his club kid days. Going to dance with friends. Down there in Offenbach. Doing the Robert Johnson. Collective emotions for a better tomorrow. These he still seeks. In his music. His shows. His collaborations. You can book him for a party. For enlightenment. For ecstasy or introspective perspectives. Dancing slow, whilst pirouetting a high-pitched show. 

Since more than a decade. His own music is out there, too. Bringing his spirits in sound. On his own labels. On international imprints like ESP Institute, Hivern Discs, Craigie Knowes, or Emotional Response. Solo works. Driving ones. Slow drills. Teased during his DJ dates around the planet. 

The music plays day and night. Inspiration comes. From a simple kick drum. A movie sequence. A bird on the sill. A picture, totally still. Can’t kick that feeling when it hits. Benedikt Frey. In dreams. In streams. In music. Emotions. Situations. At night. In those flashy lights, when it bites.
