“All Human – No Conditions” is the first solo EP by the French producer Itako. The opener “The Country That Does Not Exist” is a slow burning and bass-driven tune in which hypnotic synth and acid lines merge with North African vocal pieces. Thereafter, Itako shows with “Freehands Desire” his darker side. A mid-tempo composition with massive drum patterns and forward-moving melodies. On the flip side, “Groove That Dust” is screwing the tempo back down. Six minutes of an irresistible groove where we assume no one can stand still. The release is rounded off with a remix by MR TC. The Glasgow based musician stretched “The Country That Does Not Exist“ into a tribal workout with breaks in which he lets the machines speak for themselves.

Leeds trio Joe Gill, Heidi Armitage and Tim Hutton aka Tzamsutsi opening new eclectic Various Lurkers 04 compilation on Space Ritual Records.
If you listen hard enough between the kicks and the high hats and the acid lines and the analogue synths you can hear a micro moment of silence, you could hear a psychedelic frogs.
Although Psychedelic Frogs Are Ok is a mid tempo track, it burns the senses every bit as well as much as any track you would hear at 5am. A heavy acid line plays out while punctuated by trippy tribal cowbell which seep in and out of the track.
All the while heady drums dance alongside fx ridden backwards bass lines among acid guitar parts, either way this will be a nice addition to the catalogue of an artist who will allow you to do anything except hear a psychedelic frogs singing.

Itako delivers 4 original tracks, which have lots of dark hypnotic arps, haunting vocals, and acid basslines. 
@franz-scala of Slow Motion contributes with an excellent acido italo remix and @facets-music did an up-tempo version of the original.

Cornwall has originated mavericks in electronic music and natives Forgotten Corner are tapping the same megalithic seams. Phil’s measured approach to crafting music with Nick’s study of drumming and love of studio hardware is a potent combination.‘Gallus’ is a solo piece from Nick and continues their distinct sound heard on self-released works like DJ Harvey favourite ‘Tatooine Moons’ with Khidja.

He was a man who did not see life with his own eyes, but comprehended it only through books and was doubly dangerous in that he convinced himself of his sincerity. He unfeignedly took his lust for exalted feelings, weakness - for the inconstancy of artistic nature, laziness - for philosophical calmness. His mind, vulgar in its attempts at refinement, perceived everything in a slightly exaggerated form, vaguely, through the gilded fog of sentimentality. He lied, not knowing that he was lying, and when others reproached him for this, he said that lies are beautiful. In short, he was an idealist.

After he featured on Various # 2, the Russian artist Yssue is back on KUMP with three, slightly incantational, Industrial/Tribalistic tracks. In this EP, Dmitry Nekrotkov explores Nature and expresses his vision of the bonds which Mankind shares with It.
What's more? Two remixes. Ayaz, an artist from Azerbaïdjan and founder of the Yalançi label, delivered a Dub-Techno remix which will turn your brain upside down before chopping it in tiny bits.
The second remix was made by the Duo DJ PG, from Lauzanne (Switzerland). The two pals, both members of the group "La Sacrée Déter" revisited the track "Lust" adding a Psyche-dubik touch to it. Perfect for a matinee on your sofa.
"My music is often a reflection of the state in which I am at a certain period of my life, since I grew up from a musical punk scene, this often involves a certain set of means of expression. In essence, I am in an endless struggle to express some quite lively and human emotions through the cold and artificial world of electronic sounds. That is why there is a lot of melody and sometimes even drama in my music, and this is why I'm often got bored with a static music.
This EP is called "Naturalist", a terms that defines a person who has devoted his life to the study of nature and its kingdoms. This directly relates to my strong belief that the further society advances, the more people are losing touch with nature, something that is real and to which they all belong." - Dmitry Nekrotkov.

Starting with A14 their nefarious, sonic industrial funk is on max. Samples reverberate around a dystopian shell, before playful tonalities swirl you higher. As hands to the sky as Odopt will ever witness. There is true beauty in the night.

A dense atmosphere prevails Keylat, it’s darker EBM variations jack the master; voices scattering over schematic, metallic melodies before percussion is tamed, fading to a soporiphic realism.

Benedikt Frey is many. Or just one? He is a composer. An arranger. A DJ. A Liveact. A ghost producer. A fan. He also plays in bands like INIT, or Dolphins or KEYS +++ produced the last two albums for Chris Imler. Downbeat in experimental dub zones. The goat for Edits and remixes. When house was his nation, he used to listen to pen names like Suedmilch or Venedikt Reyf. He still likes the music formed under their umbrella, but today his tomorrow is not echoed in yesterday. His sound signature moved on. Into the open. He founded labels like R.i.O. or Serious Trouble. 

He lives in Berlin. Physically. In mind Benedikt Frey is at many places. Traveling far thru his home studio that is a flat a studio a flat an instrument a record collection a flat a studio. Everywhere gear, vinyl, tapes, instruments, rooms for spontaneous sonic notions, these moments, when a sudden strike of stimulation falls. He is inspired a lot. For music to dance. Music for films. Music for live shows. Music for dancing glows. Techno, house, downbeat, ambient, jungle, electronics outside the norms. Those transportive ones. Jamming with others. Jamming with his mind. In Berlin Wedding, North of the town, where the lights dimmed low, neighbors share the flow, and a small river runs slow.  As a DJ he plays here, there, everywhere. Big clubs, small shacks, festivals, gatherings. From fast to 90 BPM - as he feels. 

For himself. For the crowd. In the spur. He still remembers his club kid days. Going to dance with friends. Down there in Offenbach. Doing the Robert Johnson. The music plays day and night. Inspiration comes. From a simple kick drum. A movie sequence. A bird on the sill. A picture, totally still. Can’t kick that feeling when it hits. Benedikt Frey. In dreams. In streams. In music. Emotions. Situations. At night. In those flashy lights, when it bites.
