This album varies widely in style, from funk, to folk, to “psych-gospel” (thanks for that term Lucas). It also features some awesome vocal performances from Rob & Jay, Lucas Brogdon, and Horse Thief. I'm a singer-songwriter from Singapore, also go by the name 'myqo', and previously the guitarist from The Regular Expressions. I'm writing and recording songs in my spare time because I feel that it is important to capture these fleeting emotions and thoughts at different points in my life, and crystallize it into a neat 4 minutes song. If I don't, they are forever lost (and that is terrible isn't it?)

The chief influences of my music taste are The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Blur, Pulp, The Smiths, Radiohead, Interpol, The Strokes, The Horrors and of course, The Arctic Monkeys. Favorite local (Singapore) bands are Humpback Oak and The Great Spy Experiment. 

I want to write more songs about the sights, sounds, and soul of Singapore. Do let me know if you want to collaborate on some songs!
