The Joker and the Queen of Hearts is a concept album.  The theme is apocolyptic, but not dark.  Its purpose is to ignite contemplation on the signs of the time unfolding around us and to evaluate the worldwide ideas revealing the evolution of the collective consciousness.  Our attitude towards and love of classic rock, especially themed and open to a psychadelic influence, has inspired us over the last 13 years to work towards a sound that celebrates and works within the classic rock genre.  Pink Floyd and The Doors are the two heaviest influences upon our style, recording technique, and compositional procedures.  Certainly there are also influences from Jethro Tull, Neil Young, The Rolling Stones, and Jimi Hendrix.  Our hope is that this album will be appreciated as a work of creativity and for its thematic story telling.
