Ronny Gee moves for a long time through the clubs in Brandenburg/Germany and yet he is a real hot insider tip. Used to be a friend of the hard styles, the 4 / 4 beat, drives it him now to the shifting sides of the music. But still, he does never lose his home from his ears and plays that, what he likes! Whether from the good old days or fresh from the vinyl-press, he really knows how to combine th...e styles.

As head and mastermind of the Party-Crew -Sound of East Side-, he always understood it over years to assembly the crowd around him and is one of the few “good old guys”, who still accompany the scene of Brandenburg and present to an honest and consistent sound.

In his room for plates he have the finest vinyl beads, most of the sound-proof music collectors are the envy of his own. He send the consumers deep and floating through his sets and takes them on a musical journey.

The reason was for him the year 1993. Electronic music, which was expressed at that time in the form of rave, trance or happy hardcore swept, by degrees from Berlin to him too in the rural area. At that time he was prescribed the punk / hardcore and heard also like Hip Hop.

But one evening, he dragged with a few of his best friends in a club, it should now change his life significantly. From the first visit on, he was so much fascinated by the vipes, the energy and atmosphere, which brought the music with it. Once tasted blood, his enthusiasm was unstoppable.


BIO DEUTSCH

Schon lange streift Ronny Gee durch die Brandenburger Lande und ist doch ein Geheimtipp. Früher eher in den harten Gefilden des 4/4 Takts angesiedelt, treibt es ihn nun zu den schiebenden Seiten der Musik. Trotzdem verliert er nicht seine Heimat aus den Ohren und spielt fleißig das, was ihm
gefällt! Ob aus denn guten alten Zeiten oder frisch aus der Presse, er weiß wie man die Styles vereint.

Als Kopf und Mastermind von der Party-Crew Sound of Eastside verstand er es über Jahre hinweg, die Crowd um sich zu versammeln und ist einer der wenigen Urgesteine, die die Brandenburger Szene nach wie vor begleiten und dazu einen ehrlichen und konsequenten Sound präsentieren.

In seinem Plattenzimmer finden sich Vinylperlen, um die ihn selbst soundsichere Musiksammler beneiden. Deep und treibend führt er den Konsumenten durch seine Sets und nimmt ihn mit auf eine musikalische Reise.

Ausschlaggebend war bei ihm das Jahr 1993. Elektronische Musik, die sich damals in Form von Rave, Trance oder Happy Hardcore äußerte, schwappte nach und nach von der Berliner Metropole auch zu ihm in die ländliche Gegend. Zu dieser Zeit war er dem Punk/Hardcore verschrieben und hörte auch gern Hip Hop.

Aber als ihn eines Abends ein paar seiner besten Freunde in einen Club schleiften, sollte dieser Moment sein Leben entscheidend verändern. Gleich vom ersten Besuch an er fasziniert von dem Flair, welches die Musik mit sich brachte. Einmal Blut geleckt, war seine Begeisterung unaufhaltsam.

There are people which use music just to entertain themselves. For others music means their life, their love....Mathias Webster is definitely one of them. He´s born in 1977 in Chemnitz and moved with his parents to southern part of German after the wall came down.

In the middle of the 80´s the first waves of synthesizer sounds found their way to his ears, and bands like Depeche Mode and Front 242 were the one to blame. Marusha´s broadcast „Radio Rave Channel“ on Radio Fritz did the rest and he was totally lost in the widerness of electronic music. Exactly four years later Mathias got his first gigs on private parties in Bavaria, and he didn´t have to wait long terms to have his first official appearences in ClubX in Burghausen. Lot of gigs were following in clubs and on off-location events, in Austria and Bavaria, his homebase.

Through this all, Mathias got the urge to develop the contacts he already won and spend some time in Berlin. He wanted to feel the energy and influences of the techno and house materia there, which were already strong that time. For him a big opportunity to grow musically, and a really wise decision - a fact that turned out fast.

Anyhow his days in Bavaria weren´t count yet, just like the bunch of gigs he had in Berlin. The atmosphere and the audience of the capitol achieved their effect – Mathias came back to his home sweet home to focus on producing. 

The notice from his heart came quick – it still beatened for the dancing crowd. Reason enough for him to get back behind the decks as a resident in DJ Hells Club „Villa“ in Traunstein. Three more years passed by and Mathias released his first tracks on „Pulsar Records“ or „Sub Industries“. This brought him straight to Ibiza in 2008 where he could introduce the people into his music in several locations.

Like so many others Mathias couldn´t escape from „Still having a suitcase in Berlin“ - more probably a vinyl case - which led him in spring 2010 again to Berlin. Just after arriving he was offered making a monthly event row in M-Bia and got invited to play gigs in different clubs. Lot of appearences in Germany, Suisse and Great Britain are the positive resume of following the call from the city and his intuition. 


There´s Mathias first Vinyl release coming up on „Luos Records“ new label from Oliver Curl in Spring of 2012. With „The trees can dance“ he shows up his talent in creating higher level deep house music with soul. 
Moreover he and his booker and good friend Anja are starting up „Liebe//Triebe Musik“ - which allows them to share their love to music and appreciate talented artists by giving the opportunity for a vinyl release.

Infos zu Friedlich Feiern:

Unter dem Motto "FRIEDLICH FEIERN" starteten wir im Mai 2004 eine Partyreihe im Tresor, die durch gegensätzliche Musikstile von verschiedensten Partyleuten unter einem Dach zu vereinen. Und mit diesem Konzept bespielten wir unter anderem dauerhaft den Tresor & das Pulp Mansion.

Leider endete unsere Veranstaltungsreihe, vorerst bedingt durch das Tresor-Closing, am 04. März 2005 und ein zweites Mal beim Pulp Mansion-Closing Ende 2008. Nach einem kurzen Gastspiel in der Zelle sind wir nun seit August 2009 im M-Bia Club am Alexanderplatz.


FRIEDLICH FEIERN machte sich auch durch zahlreiche Spezials, Jubiläumsevents oder Release Partys einen Namen.

Born and raised in Berlin, Daniel Boon is like his namesake, the American pioneer, never afraid of new pathways and ideas. And thus he moved from West Berlin to East Berlin's vibrant and trendy district Friedrichshain after the fall of the Wall. Here he was socialized with electronic music and soon began taking his first steps as a DJ in the Matrix Club in 1997. Shortly after, he started his own event series, “Electrosex”, which was accountable for numerous orgiastic party nights in various Berlin party locations. In his next endeavor, he joined forces with Oliver Tatsch: the first “Ostfunk Berlin” party was celebrated in the club Maria am Ostbahnhof in 2003. This bombshell of a party was soon followed by a new event series, “IncognitoBerlin”, held in the legendary old Tresor until the club's closing in 2005. That very year Boon and Tatsch launched Ostfunk Records, which has become one of Berlin's leading techno labels to date.
When Daniel Boon is not spinning the decks or organizing parties, he is producing new tracks. He has been releasing his own music since 2008, his first record being “Woop!” (OSTF007), which was remixed by Lützkirchen (“Drei Tage Wache”) and was received enthusiastically by critics and fans alike. In 2010, he teamed up with Stereo Jack to become JackDaniel – a high-volume techno project that saw its first release “DancingClappingScreamingShouting” (OSTF026) on Ostfunk Records in 2011.
