fishmonger is probably album of the year for me, so when @underscores put out the stems for it i knew i had to do something with them. here's a mashup remix featuring parts from kinko's field trip 2006, where did you fall, second hand embarassment, del mar county fair 2008, spoiled little brat, and there's a cover of the fish song on piano at the end. i had a lot of fun with this and if you're not familiar with the album i highly encourage you to go listen through it!

In this song, clearlew's vocal performance embodies my two-year debate of being transgender. It's Canal Pride in Amsterdam as we're making this, and I'm sitting home writing a song with my best friend about being beautiful in my own way. However, given as to how clearlew sings my story and he doesn't represent the lyrics personally, we decided to write a song that can also be interpreted as a love song, about a girl named >>>"lola" - the name I would have given myself, if I would have decided to become a woman.
