*  In collaboration with established Brisbane label, Frisson Records we conspired to curate a unique techno VA, with a specific vision and mission for the project. Every hand selected artist would produce a track within the range of 126 - 131 bpm, that collectively would obscure the borders between the darkest sub genres of techno. Creating an album that would progress and evolve itself into that euphoric, genre branching time slot on the main stage. Taking light to heavy, bleeding darkness into the white, twisting away the uplifting and good natured atmosphere of the day and generating the ghoulish sounds of the night. We sought out haunting vocals, perverted basslines and depraved melodies from our selectors and in return, The Alchemists of Tyranny was born.
