Einfach nur Wow! Was für eine Abfahrt war das denn bitte?!

Selten habe ich so viel Energie auf dem Floor gespürt, welcher mit mir zusammen ab 2 Uhr nachts anderthalb Stunden nur auf und ab gesprungen ist. Und das alles dazu auch noch in dieser tollen historischen Location einer alten DDR-Bowlingbahn, in die ein paar fette Funktion Ones geknallt wurden.

Auch wenn es zwischendrin ein paar technische Probleme zu handeln gab und das Ende stark improvisiert war, habe ich mich entschieden, dieses Set als Erinnerung an diese phänomenale Zeit hochzuladen. Ich springe beim Nachhören auch jedes Mal wieder ein klein bisschen auf und ab im Bus, der Bahn, zu Hause... Amrit Kishan is a Chennai-based techno artist, music producer, and sound engineer who’s been shaping sounds for over 11 years. His love for music started early with formal training, but it wasn’t until 2017 that he found his true calling in techno. 
Spotting a gap in the local scene, he became a founding and core member of Subtrail, a record label born during the COVID-19 lockdown that’s now a global platform for underground electronic music.

Since 2022, Amrit has been dropping bangers on labels like Soupherb, Alpaka, Pointzer0, Alula, Techgnosis, and Subtrail. His tracks have been played at legendary festivals like Boom, Mo:Dem, and Universo Parallelo. After releasing his third EP in 2023, he’s gearing up to drop a massive 9-track collaborative album on December 20, 2024.

When he’s not making music, Amrit is on the road managing tours for international artists and pushing boundaries in India’s electronic music scene. For him, techno isn’t just a genre—it’s a limitless art form.
