No Moon blends electro, breaks, acid and UK bass into a forward-thinking club EP for the 7th release on our main label.

Opening with 'Sirens', the A-side plunges straight into deep and breaky sub-domains, before sliding on to the brighter and melodic, but equally heavy workout, 'Bathtub Dub'.

On the flip, electro and UK bass come together on gloomy tool 'Where Am I', before 'Acid IX' finishes off the record with a blissful, distorted acid frenzy for the floor.

About a year ago I launched my label IPSO. First release was a collab with Michael Mayer. We made Dogma 1 and 2, and the tracks have been in heavy rotation ever since. I remember a magical morning at Panorama Bar where we played Dogma 1. It was one of those moments we all live for, where everything fell in place. Magical.

This summer IPSO 002 is released and this time it's a collab with none other than Tiga. We spent a couple of great days in my Copenhagen Studio, and I'm really proud of what we came up with.
This is the first track "HAL" from the forthcoming IPSO 002 E.P.

Exhumed Tapes II is the second in a multi-artist series of cassette releases on the Modern Cathedrals label. With label art featuring small details of "important graves," the series will dig into eery, broken beat techno with gritty textures. 

The second tape features four tracks by Detroit-based artist Uun, whose work on the EP builds from careful and subdued atmospheres to aggressive percussion-driven tracks. In keeping with the themes of the series, the label art once again features the grave of an author chosen by the artist. 

It will be limited to 50 hand-numbered physical copies.

RAITO's releases for BNR have always been rave revival floor-fillers, heavily drenched in 90's oldskool breakbeat hardcore, tribal, and darkstep influences.  "One Step Beyond" shows Raito's increasingly unmatched ability to craft bangers that are both festival-ready and so obsessively rooted in rave canon that even the chin-strokers can't deny their appeal.  

The title track brings huge euphoria, with pianos, amens, a reese bassline, diva vocals, rewinds, and an MC bigging up what seems to be the biggest party in the world called "One Step Beyond." It's immersive in a way that moves outside the walls of the track, with the samples providing atmosphere that transports you to another time and place.  "Island Tribe" revisits a format explored on Raito's last EP "Tribal Cave," a conga filled slow-builder that will nearly drive you mad, with the final 30 seconds providing an electrified relief.  "Drop That" could fit in a deep house set- although the thumping kick and high tempo betrays it's own "deepness" for something a bit harder, not to mention you could cut shapes all night to the sticky bassline.  "No More" has Raito closing the release with a more menacing, tension and release structured, breakbeat-jittered house track, leaving the listener feeling like the EP was the last 4 tracks of the night at the biggest party in the world.  Lest we've forgotten the announcer from the title track already, that party is called "One Step Beyond."
