Audiohell returns to Gorge and Nick Curly's 8bit Records for another 4-track EP, this time with Italy-based Belgian Bimas.

The pair have turned out three original cuts that sit the border between tech house and techno, whilst the final track comes in the form of a remix by Jose De Divina and DC10 resident Tania Vulcano. 

Pick of the bunch here at DT is 'Forever Yours'. Built around a confident, pumping rhythm and quirky synth touches, the track is a guaranteed floor-filler.

Repetition Slow (Rivet Remix)
Rivet is a well-known name with releases on labels like Skudge and Kontra-Musik. He is previously known under the alias Grovskopa. This Is Head did their own remix on the track “Repetition” for a 7” released in 2013 and they called it “Repetition Slow” here Rivet remixes the remix and takes us on an experimental gravel journey.

“You know it's true, don't you?" You know it's true, sometimes emotions can be darn unsettling and disturbing – as they flow deep down our consciousness uncovering fears, thoughts and feelings. Yes, if we're focused too much on our personal hedonistic euphorias, sometimes we lose that... It gets lost; You know it's true. You may know it's true.

Manfredi Romano aka Dj Tennis shapes this treasure, a release that is decisively out of the box; a small cathedral made of subtle shades and unusual EQ's, where ideas seduce and frighten.

That's “Divisions”, led by Danish singer and guitarist Jeppe Kjellberg. Who's words and voice are carefully crafted as a precious, poisoning weapon of concern and bewilderment; as it is “Chirality” a deep, insistent, gelid voyage. Which distinctively in this round, We find ourselves not only with Tennis' masterful production skills but also the astounding addition of Sophie Trudeau's string work – she's been the driving force behind the string sections of legendary Canadian post-rockers Godspeed You Black Emperor, one of the most dark, cinematic and unsettling rock acts of the last decades – which really ads a poignant and visionary mood and emotions we rarely encounter and by that we can rarely breathe.

The original edits have been respectfully and creatively revisited by techno pioneer Roman Flügel, who masterfully rubs “Divisions”; turning it into a sensual, devious, laid down affaire. Lastly, closing the ride , the legendary English duo Plaid - true masters and innovators within the Intelligent Dance Music field- grace “Chirality” with their very own touch made of alien sounds, mutant rhythm architectures, warm dynamics and heartbreaking melodic caresses that iconically represents their visions.

Today is the day I have been patiently waiting for. We finally have achieved a sound of rave and hardcore but have somehow managed to stay sonically sane....Not saying we are insane but at times when the homie Hender drops a classic raveathon like this original called "Enlightenment" for instance, we disconnect from earthly wishes and desires and call for help from God Almighty. Fritz Ta is a Philly-born, Asian-American DJ driven and inspired by his adventures and explorations in the underground music scene. His sets can range from chill deep house to dirty ghetto tech to hypnotic, energetic pulsing techno but you can always expect them to tell a weird story and make you want to move and groove your body in strange ways.

As co-founder of @mashtnyc, he and a collective of fellow local DJ's and artists seek to contribute the warm fuzzy vibes and profound effects that varying forms techno and house music have on the soul. The team curates techno-heavy gatherings at Sleepwalk, Jupiter Disco, and Bossa Nova Civic Club in Brooklyn as well as a MASHT NYC podcast featuring local and international guests.
