All of us here at ADID have been super excited about this release for months. Not only does it contain the gorgeous original mix from Maher Daniel and John Charnis that has been melting ladies hearts all summer long but we also have quite a superb remix. Luca Bachetti's Endless label is one of our favorites here and it was only a matter of time until we knew we were going to (gently) prize something special from his musical soul. His remix has caused a little bit of a stir. We've been bombarded on a daily basis with requests for it. Well, for all you bombarders, it's finally here. Initially we only sent it out to a tiny handful of friends and family. Dixon and Ame both played it in Panorama bar on the same night, and it's been a staple track in Lee Burridge's sets all summer. It never sounded better than at Burning Man festival this year and those lucky enough to have been there will attest to the mystical journey it weaved as it meandered out of the Robot Heart bus's perfect sound system and across the playa. One of it's most memorable moments, so far, for sure. Now it's time for you to create your own magic with it. The hardest decision you'll have to make is deciding which mix to play. Isolée’s Arrival

When three people run a label together it is exceptionally rare to find a positive unified opinion of a record upon first listen. When Isolée sent his "Mangroove" EP to Maeve, this was in fact what happened. But it is Isolée after all....

Mangroove came about last summer when The Drifter happened to catch Isolée's live set at a festival in Switzerland. Instantly blown away by the A side "Pisco" he was determined to find out what it was and if it was to be released. After chatting, Isolée suggested that he would send "Pisco" along with a couple of other "demos" to Maeve and a few days later the EP was happening.

Isolée has created some of the most important and beautiful records of our generation and has being a huge influence on what we do, thus we are incredibly excited and humbled to release his work.

This three track EP shows several different sides of the Frankfurt native, from the A-side dance floor catalyst that is "Pisco" to the deeper dubbier B-sides of "L5 Syndrome" and "Mangrove". This is the perfect record to mark our tenth release.

Continuing on Tiefschwarz's blazing trail of releases and special celebrations throughout this year - their 20th year in the game - the Souvenir label bosses prep the next release in their now weighty catalogue. 
After a unique and fruitful time spent in the studio, along with a successful collaboration last year on Re.You's label (U.nion), the pair reunite with Watergate affiliate and Berlin resident Ruede Hagelstein once again here for a solid four trackers featuring the masterful work of professional classical pianist, Julian Quentin.
Always looking to the future Tiefschwarz include in the pack a slice of the new school, welcoming the upcoming talent Panthera Krause of Lobster Theremin and Uncanny Valley fame for a remix.
We're only halfway through this year and Tiefschwarz keep delivering - don't sleep on this one - there's yet more to come.

Fantastic Man - False Consciousness

‘Multiverse’ is a word used to describe an infinite group of disparate universes including the ones currently inhabited by humans. A myriad of realms that sit side by side, undetected by our senses, surround us at any given moment. The multiverse theory was first confirmed by tracking leakage of electromagnetic waves filtering from one dimension into the next. When these waves were transposed to fit into frequencies audible by the human ear, the recordings were studied by a team of scientists, who found that they contained rhythmic elements that resembled a speech pattern of an alien language.

After years of research and manipulation the audio was found to be a looping recording of an alien voice speaking the words: ‘IDWT005; coming soon to a universe near you.

We premiere Avenue A from, Tom Flynn, who continues his string of flings with household heavyweight's; previous releases on outlets such as Planet E, Dirtybird and Hypercolour.  ‘Avenue A’ balances deep mechanical rhythms with sophisticated piano motifs. An entirely cerebral affair - one to dance and/or cry to.

Born in the wilderness of rural Canada, Daniel Gardner spent his formative years in relative isolation, serenaded by the supernatural sounds of the environment in which he inhabited. Not content with his traditional schooling, he spent wintery nights tuned into a distant university radio station, recording weird and wonderful electronic music onto a cassette tape which hung from the ceiling to study musical structures. It wasn't long before he began sampling his habitat and creating sonic landscapes of his own, as surreal and serene as his surroundings. 

This is DIY Electronic music from the soul...
