Après un été studieux à parcourir les festivals en Europe (Boomtown Fair, Tomorrowland..) et aux Etats-Unis, Bart&Baker reviennent avec un EP aux sonorités radicalement deep. Ils se sont faits assistés à la post production par le producteur allemand Timo Jahns qui avait fait sensation en début d’année en sortant sur le sous label de Get Physical, Poesie Musik un remix autorisé par Sade elle-même d’un de ses plus beaux titres, « Pearls ». Timo est actuellement rattachés aux labels D :Vision et Get Physical.
Sur ce nouvel EP qui sortira en Digital mais aussi en Vinyl (via Kuroneko Media), on retrouve l’un des interprètes fétiche de Bart&Baker, Pheel Balliana, interprète du Dj star Joe T Vanelli.
 « Invicible » est une composition sexy et dark traitant de nos addictions modernes. Quand à « Windows of The World », en référence à la société des écrans, il infuse une douceur troublante grâce à ce rework exclusif.
Ces deux titres font dors et déjà partie du nouveau projet de DJ Ravin, résident du Buddha Bar, à sortir courant novembre 2015.
Un clip réalisé par le photographe Valentin Perrin sortira en même temps que la version digitale


After a busy summer, Bart&Baker are back with a solid package of tracks, remixed by the rising German producer Timo Jahns, who caused quite a buzz this year with his official release on Get Physical's sub-label Poesie Musik of an official rework of Sade's classic "Pearls". Timo has lent his magic fingers on two Bart&Baker tracks, featuring former Joe T Vanelli vocalist Pheel Balliana. 
"Invincible" is a dark and sexy tune, while "Windows Of The World" is a more sophisticated entry in Bart&Baker catalogue. 
Both tunes have been already selected by DJ Ravin from Buddha Bar for his forthcoming compilation. 



Nach einem heißen Sommer melden sich Bart&Baker mit einem wundervollen Release zurück: neben einer Live Version von "Invincible" befinden sich Remixe vom deutschen Produzenten Timo Jahns mit auf der EP, welcher dieses Jahr mit seinem offiziellen Remix von Sade's "Pearls" auf Get Physicals Sublabel Poesie Musik schon für großes Aufsehen sorgte. You are gold. Always believe in your soul. Not our words but those of the 80's icon Tony Hadley in his Spandau Ballet heyday, and whilst we're not sure who he was referring to, his words seem apt in describing The Golden Boy, Dominic Hammonds.

Having already racked up releases on Kerri Chandler’s MadTech, Mike Mago’s Bmkltsch Records, and Cr2 Records, we've been fans of the Brummie DJ for a fair while now, having seriously impressed when playing a Data Transmission party for us a few years back.

So, having worked his magic for a number of our favourite labels and wowed crowds with his selections, it should come as little surprise that his latest cut, 'Big Mac' has been doing serious damage on the dance floor. Serving as one of the various exclusive numbers - and highlights - on Toolroom's new Miami Underground compilation, we've been unable to get it out of head or off of our playlist since it landed in our bulging inbox. Featured on this exclusive mix alongside cuts from Oliver Dollar, Riva Starr and another forthcoming effort from himself, we're expecting our golden friend to have the biggest of summers.

Mix Of The Day: The Golden Boy

Well renowned Australian producer/dj duo Yolanda Be Cool (who have released a string of chart topping singles and bumping remixes since their 2010 worldwide smash “We No Speak Americano). The duo just released their latest single “From Me To You” together with longtime collaborator DCUP and they’re also the latest outfit to join the Discobelle Mix Series, this hour long mix takes us on a whirlwind trip of smashing house tunes and party gems.

Exporter la culture électro des clubs aux jardins, pelouses, ruelles et cafés de Nîmes, c’est le pari risqué du festival Animé depuis maintenant 10 ans.

Le festival qui a su s’imposer comme le rendez vous estival de la culture électro fête cette années ses dix ans ! L’occasion d’expérimenter de nouvelles envies, tout en restant fidèle aux valeurs et atouts qui ont fait son succès. Fidèles, les organisateurs œuvrent pour un retour aux sources en réinvestissant les Jardins de la Fontaine, site historique qui a vu naître leur projet. Ambitieux, en proposant un plateau artistique à la fois riche, pointu et alléchant.

Le pape de la tech house, l’argentin Barem viendra marquer la soirée de son emprunte musicale : basses puissantes et mélodies envoutantes pour un set sombre et hypnotique. Plus chaleureux, Miguel Campbell nous plongera dans la hype de Hot Creation, les pieds dans l’eau direction Ibiza avec des hits deep house, ondulations garanties. Techno froide et industrielle pour The Hacker, dont la collaboration avec Gesaffelstein marque son grand retour sur les scènes des clubs et festivals les plus en vue. Nhar viendra également nous chahuter les oreilles et les corps avec un live planant entre deep house et cold wave, forcément grisant.  Pour compléter ce plateau international, l’association Woh lab convie les dj’s issus de la scène électro Sud florissante. Les figures de proues des petits matins électro, résidents du légendaire Bar Live Cebb & Sandy viendront présenter en live  leur nouveau projet « Between us ». À leurs côtés, celui qui multiplie les dj’s sets outre Manche, Laurent Wild viendra enchainer ses plus grands hits nu disco. Aux manettes de tubes pop, productions techno et hits house, Greg Delon. Celui qui s’amuse à nous porter vers des  contrées underground sait aussi bien composer la bande son d’un été pétillant.  À la fois fondateurs de Woh Lab et du festival Animé, il était donc naturel que Greg Delon vienne souffler les bougies derrière les platines, accompagné de Mister K.

Effervescence musicale au programme de ce dixième anniversaire d’Animé, qui transformera les Jardins de la fontaine en dancefloor géant !

It's been a while since our last guestmix, and what better way to keep it lit then with an exclusive mix from an artist that's a housemate of the label and a friend, Satin Jackets. The last year has been a big one for this German based outfit (no pun intended) with releases currently sitting high on Beatport charts, productions in great demand, a worldwide following and the kicking off of the first series of live shows all over the place. Judging by the outfits work ethos this is only going to be the tip of the iceberg. 

Satin Jackets trademark sound is slow, sultry and brimming with optimism and todays mix reinforces this aesthetic. With a BPM that's in no hurry this mix is full of summer heat. With plenty of hooky vocals and a non pretentious approach to track selection this typifies Satin Jackets ethos of music to make you smile. We caught up with Tim and Den to ask them a few questions, some pertinent and some pointless.
