Death and rebirth are core themes of this Montreal based project. Froid takes us on a journey through desolate landscapes and, as the name suggests, into a world devoid of warmth yet dappled with its own type of light. Froid is a reminder that those dark places are part of us, and that we should embrace them for that very reason. Let us die, and be reborn. As many times as the flowers blossom.

Guy Pelletier creates avant-garde miscegenerative music comprised of classical, ancient, and traditionnal music styles with jazz, rock, and electroacoustic influences. He uses non-4/4 meters and plays with non equal tempered tuning systems. His music is polytonal and polymetric, humorous and agressive, intense and profound. Guy Pelletier’s music is intricate and well crafted to convey a sense of primeval, instinctive immediacy.

I started dabbling with electronic music creation in the 90's. Been on and off Djying and performing in clubs, festivals, private parties.
These days I love warm vibes that drives people to connect on the dancefloor and not afraid to dive in dark vibe or more deep intimate emotions when needed.
