For April episode, Entropy 熵 is excited to have @yearsofdenial as the special guest. Years of Denial will have their debut Asia live tour this coming June, with our 5 year anniversary party at @mihnclub Hong Kong as their first stop in Asia, followed by additional stops at Volnost Seoul, Loopy Hangzhou, and Elevator Shanghai. Their fresh new album on Veyl Records, Sucide Disco, is a masterfully combination of industrial music, Techno, and dark poetry. Their sound was once compared to something like Eurythmics meets Chris & Cosey with a techno twist. Unaffected by the current trend of fast bpm trance mxied with pop, Years of Denial's sound can be best described as slow, yet powerful and sexy, reminiscent of old school Berlin sound. Originally from Brazil and currently making waves in Berlin's dynamic music scene, Paty Vapor is a multifaceted artist known for her roles as DJ, curator and event producer. 

She is part of the Italian label-collective Slow Motion / Wrong Era and co-founder of the female-focused event series 'Wisdom Tits & The Mad Express presents'. Holding a residency at the Berlin club Sameheads and at Blum in her hometown Sao Paulo, she regularly showcases her sound at the pinnacle of Berlin's venues, across Europe, and in Brazil, solo or as one half of the DJ duo Wisdom Tits alongside Caillou.

Her sets evoke an old-school nostalgia of the ’80s, weaving through EBM, Electro, and Industrial, smoothly blending with Synthpunk, Wave, obscure Italo and Belgian New Beat. Characterized by powerful kicks, bold basslines, ethereal synths, and enigmatic vocals. Paty Vapor's sonic tapestry is a captivating fusion of the old and the avant-garde. La Carpio (they/them) is a parasitologist, record collector, party thrower and DJ based in Hamburg. Born and raised in Costa Rica they are co-organizer and resident of several event series in the Hamburg queer underground scene. Their party series Nuit Blanche offers a space for queer DJs to share their music with the local community. Their monthly radio show Contra Olas in the local radio sender FSK focuses on subcultural music genres. Bound to a queer ethos their music curation and vinyl sets comprise dancy gloomy electronics from Belgian and French Cold Wave, shaped by psychedelic Acid Disco, Sonido de Valencia and New Beat, all spiked with furious EBM and Electropunk beats.

The underrepresentation of queer artists in their favorite music genres as well as the underrepresentation of their favorite genres in the queer mainstream scene inspired La Carpio to curate this only vinyl set, dedicated mostly to queer and/or female artists that composed, produced, remixed and influence the current deviant electronic music scene including various genres from Synth Wave and Proto-Techno to Dark & Italo Disco, over Acid and EBM grooves.

Daniel Sánchez aka PCK is a Mexican DJ and music collector who has contributed to various fanzines and magazines over the years. Deeply influenced by Punk, Post-Punk, Dark Wave, EBM, and New Wave, he began DJing in 2014 and has since played at nearly every underground venue in Mexico City, as well as in different states across the country. Throughout his career, he has shared the stage with a wide range of national and international DJs, producers, and bands.

He is also a member of Colectivo Sinergia, a crew dedicated to exploring genres like Techno, EBM, House, and more.

With his latest project, “Let Your Body Learn,” he delivers a powerful blend of dancefloor-driven rhythms, fusing Electroclash, Industrial, Industrial Techno, New Beat, EBM, and Italo. The result is a sound that bridges old-school energy with a modern edge.

The next installment of the MK-ULTRA series is by Lyon based DJ & Producer @aestr_music who presents a relentless and tightly curated hour of techno body music & industrial techno

ÆSTR is the main project of France-based DJ and producer Esther Filankembo. Carving sonic rituals at the crossroads of Industrial techno, Hypnotic, Techno Body Music and Rhythmic Noise, ÆSTR weaves relentless sets inspired by dystopia, horror, sci-fi and spirituality.

Here she aims to bend minds and bodies to altered states. Previously known as the dancer and musician Yshar, she is forging her art since 2010. Strongly inspired by metal, indus and psytrance, she has self-released psytechno tracks.

Represented by Cruel Machine agency, ÆSTR is also part of the FLINTA collective Techno Fatale. She has shared line-up with Ancient Methods, Crystal Geometry, The Hacker, Mind | Matter, and performed B2B with Alpha Sect.
