French producer Folamour launches Moonrise Hill Material, a label he co-founded with Ethyene, Kaffe Crème and Okwa, with his second album titled 'Umami'. 

At just over ten minutes, 'Devoted To U' is the longest track on the album, but rightfully so. The ballad takes listeners on a sonic journey through Folamour's dancefloor-focused motif with warm textures and infectious rhythms. 

The album itself is an ode to his love of Japanese culture. Expect to find a diverse mix of house, disco swing and future jazz when 'Umami' is released on September 29.

"Hungary's Zoltan Nagy aka From P60 joins forces with songstress Lisa Shaw for "Magic", a super sweet production coupling Lisa Shaw's dulcet vocals with melodious keys and deep laidback rhythms. The package includes an exquisite selection of remixes by Chuck Love who gives the track a warm organic feel, William 'Harley' Cataldo & Flavio 'Muscle' Romaniello (better known as Harley & Muscle) who contribute two fantastic deep soulful interpretations, Jon Silva who further deepens the vibe on his soul-tech rework, and finally there is Zoltan Nagy's own 'Headloop Remix' giving the track are more tech-laden feel."

Nothing else epitomizes an acronym quite like J.E.D.I.—“Jazz Electronic Dance Improvised.” Brainchild of Brazilian Girls’ Aaron Johnston, the group’s debut track “Back Atcha” kicks the audience in the face with uptempo funk reminiscent of a Headhunters vibe. From there, it stews into a satisfying house groove laced with a saxophone solo courtesy of Dominic Lalli. As the track ramps back up with its sweaty, dance-like funk motifs Johnson’s vision is evident—J.E.D.I. is a project that is, “fun for you mind and fun for your body.”

As you might have noticed, we do like to share tracks with stories. It might have been forgotten for some time just to arise to the surface at a better point in time and sound better than ever, like in this case.

This track was crafted by the duo BONJ in the outskirts of Stockholm in early 2016 and set to be released on their first ever vinyl release in early 2017 on a favorite label. BONJ were excited as you can imagine but as it happens far to often the release was postponed to late 2017, early 2018, late 2018.. 
You already know where we are going with this. The passion for the project was somewhat lost while waiting and eventually the two pals put the BONJ project on ice, just – of course - to give birth to another one focusing on a slightly different interpretation of electronic music.

Bad luck? Poor choices? Or just mismanaged labels? We have no clue, but we do know the time has finally come for this gem to see the light of day. The two Swedes serve up a laidback house production with that special timeless feel and a groove that truly sticks, and as always it is for free. We think that all of our friends will appreciate this one like we do.

In the begining of the 90th Z. met with electronic music in Simon Angel's Party Zone. From the first moment he felt in this music's heights and feelings. In 1999 he met with the Hungarian Le Garage band, who teached Z. the secrets of electronic music making. Next 2-3 years they went together to concerts, while Z. made his musics at home. The result of this work is the release at Rhythmic NYC in New York, that came out in 2004.
