The South Road are an original, unsigned 4 piece from Porthcawl, South Wales.

After many years playing in cover bands together, we have settled on a stable line-up and recorded our first self-titled EP at The Cottage, LLanboidy in West Wales, with a little help from our friends Bish and Drew at Unit 15 Productions and some guest playing on keys from our friend Dasher (Treehouse Fire - check them out). We are pleased with the results of our first recording and are busy writing and developing a set of original material for live gigs with the plan to record an album early in 2014.
Our influences include : The Lemonheads, Neil Young, Delta Spirit and Band of Horses (with probably many others that we haven't yet realised), but don't take our word for it, check out the EP and decide for yourself.

FromeFM is a community radio station based in Frome. Available on 96.6FM in the local area ant www.frome.fm online.

Frome based musician Vincent Callan creates songs using lo fi, discarded, estranged and unloved instruments, blending cheap toy instruments with singalong choruses. Sometimes gentle, other times boisterous, but always upbeat about the downside of life.
