Description: So, how does this work? I have a starting point patch on the Sub37 which is called "jam" or something similar. From there I tweak a bit to get to a good sounding patch pretty quickly. By accident I recreated a patch which I used a lot 2 years ago. I love that sound.

Just a fun summer analog techno studio jam. One camera oversaturated because my camera knowledge is non-existent. Lot's of drums and analog synths to get you through the day.

Jam 135 Analog Techno Studio jam - All hardware

I think the vibe was just right. In the beginning light and almost upbeat. But then that growling Sub 37 kicks the door in and starts having a go.

Very nice jam if I say so myself. Not really special but just nice enough to knod your head to. Fun one!

Jam 136 All Analog Techno Studio jam - Synths & Drummachines

Just a fun little mix of analog goodness, melodic techno, dub elements and an overall chill vibe. I forgot to add the bass back in after the break, luckily I caught it a bit later. Well, mistakes happen.

Jam 137 ANALOG TECHNO Studio jam - Dub-ish synths & drums

I love these jams where it looks easy and it actually was. It came together pretty quick, everything fits, one take and done! 

Even mixing was very minimal except for the vocal which needed cleaning up (which is normal when you record while music is playing). I think I only used a bit of EQ and saturation on the rest. With compression only on the master.

Jam 138 Melodic summer techno feat. Inge - Groei met me mee

Long jam alert! My first jam using the new patchbay setup, so I just routed a few synths through a few pedals. Result: some nice drone textures. 

So I just went with it, created some melodic elements as a contrast. I got a nice beat going and there it is. I really love this sound. Lots going on but it all depends on which you focus.

More pedals, more arps, more drones. Still exploring the new setup and the pedals. I'm now finally in the position to get to know the pedals better and what combinations work best.

Jam 141 Analog Studio Melodic Techno Jam feat. Inge - We are as one

Experimenting some more with the pedals. I put the Lyra-8 through the Walrus Audio Sloër, and giving the pedal some bursts of more mix percentage really gave life to the drone. I guess that's another trick learned!

Jam 142 Melodic Techno - More synths through pedals

This turned out to be a pretty mellow / chill jam, no agressive leads or arps. Just nice sounds, pedals doing their thing, a nice soundbed and great vocals.
