■ Gabu is a DJ and producer from Algeria, known for his deep connection to the minimal and rominmal scene. His sound blends hypnotic grooves, subtle emotions, and intricate rhythms — a balance between movement and introspection. Co-founder of Mental Kombat, he creates music that conveys a sense of liveliness and, at the same time, meditation, driven by organic textures and a strong sense of fluidity. Each track is constructed like a conversation — minimalist in form, but rich in detail and feeling.

'Iyewaye', Oliver Koletzki’s first release after the autobiographical I AM OK album, introduced a new facet of the artist’s sound. The EP catered to a darker and more raw aesthetic, a direction followed and deepened by the four remixes. First up is the title track 'Iyewaye', turned into a lengthy tech infused introspection by Hatzler. Loosely centered around the initial vocals, Loco & Jam’s makeover explores the track’s captivating snappy narrative. The more rhythm focused 'Ipuza' gets a special treatment from Hidden Empire who dial up the aggression of the percussion. Zakari & Blange downplay the track’s initial exotic elements, focusing on the rattling synths and giving it a late-night dancefloor rework.

Oliver Koletzki – Iyéwaye (Hatzler Remix) [Full Track]

German mainstay Kölsch has had a thunderous few years , fully establishing himself as a worldwide force to be reckoned with. His piano-drenched techno has been slaying sound-systems the world over and even after two incredible albums via Kompakt, we reckon the best is still yet to come. 

His remix of 'Trouble At The Séance' is deep, dark and full of lazer-beam synths that zip in-and-out of focus. Not much can be said about this one other than it's an absolute stormer and it's going to do some serious damage this summer.

Dubfire and Oliver Huntemann reunite for the second part of their Elements series next month with ‘Humano’, which will be released through Senso Sounds on Friday 2nd September.

The single prefaces the pair’s ‘Retrospectivo’ album, which is due later this year, and is a tough, tight and driving slice of techno that will ignite dancefloors.
