Front de Cadeaux are Hugosan (Rome) and Dj Athome (Brussels)
Belgo-Italian producers Hugosan & DJ Athome have coined their own distinct druggy, slow, and dubby sound by playing specially long dj set selected 12-inch 45s at 33 rpm. 
In 2013 it was a kind of an anticipation of the New Beat revival as TSOB documentary came out the same year.
Le Pédé BPM is the first release on Roccodisco in 2014 and the remix by Fabrizio Mammarella gets instant crush from Ivan S to Erol A. 
In 2015 a second release has been released on Roccodisco (Infodrogue ep with JD Twitch Dub) followed by some remixes (Heretic, Freudenthal on Nein Records) before dropping in 2016 "The Gift" Ep on Subfield, and later two 7inchs:  Cogitate Ep on Lexidisques, and a collaboration with Hector Pavez. 
In 2017 after an appearance on Moving House compilation (Subfield) they did as well some remixes for Mugwump, In Fields (Labelle), Otto Rita (Rock to the Beat).
In 2018 after a remix for HLM38 (KUMP records)  they signed the first release on EMET records a new italian label with a single called La Ketamine. They self released their first Supreme Rallentato compilation on their bandcamp. 
The two have also done mixes and podcasts for Boiler Room (TSOB),  Honey Soundsystem, Les Yeux Oranges, The Word Magazine. 
Front de Cadeaux has already played for festivals like CTM Festival (Panorama Bar), Berlin Atonal (Tresor), Schiev Festival, Bozar Nights, Red Bull Music Festival (Paris, Berlin),...

Lobster Theremin follow up Palms Trax acclaimed Equation EP with another debutant in the shape of Snow Bone. The London-based artist, also known as Rob Hare, has had an industrious if secretive production past, trellising a mixture of techno and left-field house since the mid-90's. 

Propelled by a visceral infusion of techno, noise, industrial and EBM, this second EP owes as much to Basic Channel and Moodymann as it does to Hieroglyphic Being and Coil. It’s skewed sonics and frenzied momentum combining in such a ferocious way as to blow the mastering console at D&M four times! 

Title track Remote Viewer slams straight from the off, with the saturated bass and abrasive textures driven to hat-crushing levels. SHO 5537 provides a sinister centre-piece for the EP, blending dark, cinematic atmospheres with a doomsday kick drum and walls of stomach-turning white noise relentlessly scraped from the scorched surface of fried circuit boards. 

Flipping to the B-side sees a closer connection to LT's opening release, with 'Cubic' leaning on a vintage house lead line that's filtered over a deep, Terrence Dixon-esque groove. Taking the classic slant even further is Jared Wilson's remix of SHO 5537. Bearing pretty much zero resemblance to the original, this cut finds Jared in a more speculative mood, allowing the 303 to become an opulent layer in a pad-soaked warehouse lifter.

Front de Cadeaux was born in Bruxelles when roman Dj Hugo Sanchez met a Italo/Belgian guy called Dj Athome. The first touch was in the middle of a sauna party for big hairy men, hot and wet. Dirty sex and sweat dreams were just the click. They soon discovered that their music universe were created to become one. Both in love with the green psychedelia and both disappointed by the gay clubbing scene where people dance if only the bpm is at a very high and stupid speed level.

After having dirty sex, they spent days listening and sampling vinyls played at the wrong speed, discovering and enjoying the sexy power of the supreme “rallentamento”. Front de Cadeaux, a name that will leave Belgian’s fan of the band Front 242 astonished, confused and upset, started to create their own musical experiments that impressed Hugo Sanchez’s mate Rodion (his brother in the Alien Alien project), who put his poetic and supreme production touch on it.
Fabrizio Mammarella joined us after listening this manifesto called Le Pédé BPM. His energy was exactly what we needed to give you more acid.

We don't care of the BPM phags, we just want a world where the body and music makes love slowly all night long and we will fight a war to make it happen!

Drug culture is processing slowly. Very very slowly. Pioneers as John C Lilly, Alexander Shulgin & Timothy Leary have begun this processing with scientific elements and experimentations coming from recreational use and human rituals. Unfortunately prohibition has interrupted this processing.
Words are lies without experience. In other words: prevention of drug abuse in a society without drug culture sounds to us just like a LIE. That’s why it doesn’t work.
Since the 70’s a lot of efforts have been done: scientists and writers have produced tons of words and concepts to explain and prevent drug addiction.
40 years later, drug (ab)use is still the same reality.
Infodrogue is a call.
We are proud to announce that Infodrogue processing has begun!
We want to communicate, we want to talk. Imagine you are desperately repeating Allo? Allo? .. and no answer! Maybe there is no one to answer to you at all... How would you feel if you needed some Infodrogue?
Belgian Dj Athome and Roman Dj Hugosan spent some nights together recording wrong speed sessions to find out the Supreme Rallentato. We found it.. but it wouldn't make this without their bro Rodion and his big army of analogue weapons.
The dub version made by JD Twitch from Optimo adds even more weight to the obscure vibe and leads the track in the field of the astonishing. Go through this to get lost in the empire of deep ambient dub.

The origins of Front de Cadeaux can be traced back to a dating site for bears, some ten years ago. After Maurizio had spotted a Felix Kubin poster on one of Ugo's pictures, the two started chatting. Very much intrigued, Ugo invited Maurizio, who lives in Brussels, to play at a festival he organised in Rome. Shortly thereafter Ugo made Maurizio a resident of his Subwoofer night, one of the first bear parties in Europa that existed outside of the mainstream bear realm.

The two bonded over food of course, over their belief that dance culture is rotting from the inside, and even more over slow, heavy electronic music. You have to picture it: a flat in Brussels, a table with empty bowls and bottles, thick smoke and these two daddy dj’s listening to stacks and stacks of UK rave and breakbeat records on 33 instead of 45 rpm. Testing how deep and sexy these garbage records sound at a pace the bears can actually follow without dropping dead – Ugo & Maurizio baptised it ‘supreme rallentato’.

During those early encounters, their decade long dj experience merged into one, just like their vision that dance culture urgently needs a revolution. To them that means playing 90 bpm in a club at 3am whilst the promoters are shitting themselves, showing everyone that the body follows the groove, and not the bpm, a capitalist and macho construct that’s making crowds go numb instead of making them dance.

Around 2013, they officially started collaborating as Front de Cadeaux, referring to the Italian way of pronouncing Front 242, the Belgian EBM legends. “Le pédé BPM” (the bpm gay), their first release, followed one year later, with a Fabrizio Mammerella remix that kind of became an anthem in some circles. It's at the same time a celebration of their love for a slower groove as it is a queer manifesto, dissociating themselves from the mainstream gay culture in big cities, dominated by a horrible attitude and bad taste both in music and style. Second single “Infodrogue” came about after the drug line Maurizio worked at, stopped operating after midnight. Backed up by a bubbling bassline, it's telling the sad tale of a junk calling in and no-one answering. The references to culture and real life are everywhere, be it in the track titles of later releases – “Ouvre ta bouche” is a joke about Kate Bush, “Cogitate” a hommage to lsd wizard John C. Lilly – or their sound, which is impregnated by psyche music, mushrooms, dub, triphop and space rock.
Coming hot on the heels of the collaboration ep with long time friend Fabrizio Mamarella earlier this year, featuring their two oldest singles appearing on vinyl for the first time, came Front de Cadeaux’ new 12” on EMET records. “We slowly rot” is a manifesto and an epistemological breakdown of standard, empty club music, for in order to reconnect with what it should be about, our whole idea of dance music has to be deconstructed. As Front de Cadeaux militantly puts it: “every act of the human being is about transformation through destruction”.
