own personal characteristics.”Trefvli” opens the release with a steady focus on stomping
rhythms and a raw synth melody. “Katalast” takes things in another direction with its
corroded synth sequence and metallic percussion workouts, while “Enrak” is essentially a
minimal powerhouse with wobbly qualities that just keeps on going. And “Vedbod” finishes
the EP off with a lively but cold melody, fast-paced rhythms and clever reverb tails. Sly &

Całość label continue their tale with „Nymph VA”. The release features four finely crafted takes on techno, with varying degrees of intensity and craziness.

The opening track belongs to Berlin-based producer Jin-Su - a good friend of the collective. “Mambo” - his first track released under a new alias, brings in perfectly crafted percussion, surrounded with dreamy and mysterious details. An electrifying, tribal piece, which sets up the tone for the whole VA.

Mislaw picks up this raw, primal energy and takes it even further with his contribution - „Nymph”. Nymphs are regarded as the personification of nature - beautiful and deceptive. This track represents it well, containing crazy glitched melodies intertwining with various rhythmic ideas, assembled together to create a subtle yet powerful piece.

Lucyd, a new “Całość” member, introduces herself in a mystical fashion with “Omnificient”. The underlying dirty, pulsating bassline provides a stable foundation for her to build on with layers of hypnotic, sometimes unsettling sounds, all imbued with an oniric atmosphere.

The last track - Rethe’s “The Ultimate Path” further explores the groovy side of techno with its punchy and textured rhythms, filled with beautiful nostalgic ambient-like melodies that we know from his previous releases.

Third transmission of the SK11X series off-shoot helmed by Setaoc Mass comes via rising Belgian protege Border One. A staple figure of the respected Voltage Festival in his own country, Border One's raw, insistent sound has seen him release on Key Vinyl, Form & Function, and his own self-titled imprint whilst also featuring on DVS1's revered fabric mix. On the Restless EP however he hits his stride, steadily building intensity through restrained repetition and droning, hypnotic sound design on the opening pairing of "Crude". On the B-side, "Derail" clashes harsher hi-hats to a looping, angst-riddled groove, whilst "Restless" releases the tension with its bouncier pummel and high-pressure torque.
