I wanted to make this cover sound more like if it were an actual Sonic stage theme, so that explains why I replaced the voices with different Sega Genesis instruments. Other than that, it was pretty straightforward and fun to make!

Dissension

Today, the production of Dustswap: Dusttrust officially came to an end. I have been a member of the team for exactly 13 months, and have been with it through good times, as well as some very bad times. I figured I had to pay tribute, so I'm interrupting my break with this simple piece. I'm still on break, for the time being, but I should note that I now have a set schedule for the tracks I'll release once I return, which includes some of your requests! So stay tuned for more in the future. In the meantime though, enjoy this somber track dedicated to the Dusttrust Team.

Hey everyone! It's been a while since I've done a proper track here, hasn't it? Despite my workload still being rather heavy, I wanted to adhere to my promise to return by November. I'm going to continue balancing composition with schoolwork, because this was so much fun to make! Given how my favorite genre of music is jazz, I'd say this song's swinging nature taps into that more than any other song I've done. I sincerely hope you enjoy it!

After a nearly three month delay, I'm proud to finally present to you my belated 2,000 followers special!

The recent lull in schoolwork has allowed me to pour a lot of time into this thing, and I think it paid off beautifully. I know I've said this before, but I firmly believe this is my best song yet. It's my most sophisticated and experimental song, featuring new jazzy instruments and techniques that I believe enhanced the track. I sacrificed the intensity typically seen in a Megalo for a more realistic big band-feel, and I believe it was worth it.

The track features motifs you might recognize, from the original Glory Days and The Incredibles, as well as some original jazzy riffs. I sincerely hope you enjoy listening to this journey of a song!

Consider this a late Thanksgiving gift!
