This is the full, improved version of an older composition of mine on Edirol Orchestral with the same name, original link at the bottom. Something I have worked on after finishing 'Macedonian Empire'. Like the Macedonian I find the Roman Empire to be a historical one worthy of cinematic tune which is what I attempted here. The sheer cultural and geographically vast influence of this powerful civilization is amazing to fathom. Hope you like this improved version as much as I do!

Warrior's Chi

Finally, the song choices have been made, the order designed, and I can officially 'release' this album.  In the works since late 2011, it's peak was in the late spring of 2012.  

I had the house completely to myself to write music, sing, and embarrass only the pets; my wife was in Europe for a couple of weeks.  I was loud, emotional, and wrote (what I thought) was my best work to date, since it was honest, from the gut, crawling with an instrument rarely heard in my music.  A guitar!

But after listening to it and judging it (too many times,) I tinkered with it for about a year after I assumed it complete, somehow afraid that the work wasn't good enough.  Indeed, too often, and eventually it succumbed to the pressure of nonexistent opinion, and was never really allowed to be heard.

But I've grown out of that rubbish, and eventually realized that this really is one my most unique albums.  It came at a time of immense gravitational pull, and this helped me stay in orbit.  (2011-2012 is a very distant moon to me.)
