Here's the somewhat extended version of the Dark Gym circus idea.
I'm wondering whether the choirs fit Ghost better that Dark though. To be continued.

Dark Circus update

Here's an attempt at making the Dark Gym battle theme.
Duality between circus horns and spooky stuff abloo bloo.
I think I kinda sorta went overboard on the dramatic effects and stuff

Hopefully this doesn't sound too much like a Ghost-type gym. I'm thinking that the Ghost-Grass trainer will have a fairly more ethnic theme so it's kinda fine.
