3 years passed, now they thinking "where you at?".
When you watch the time fly, you can never get it back. Falling down as a boy, but I get up as a man. Demons telling me I can't, I'm with the Lord, so yes I can. 
   Every time I fall I'm wondering if you will catch me. I sit and think about life and all the time that has been passing. I'm barely even eating, losing weight, it's like I'm fasting.  Crying every other night and all I hear is laughing.

1st Verse-
Back doing what I love, so I can learn to love myself. And in the midst of that I'm also trying to get help.  I'm sick and tired of living with a mask upon my face. Sad, you probably think I'm talking about a.. covid case.  I'm talking about the answer if you ask if I'm OK. Because I will probably not my head and smile, say I'm great. I don't think they want to know the pain that I contain. There's a lot I need to say but they don't care if I'm away.
    Life take a turn when you meet the wrong one. The impact if you stay is like a bullet from the gun. Blinded by the lust, you really think that this is love?  Always have you feeling low, but you were meant to be above. 
    You have a heart made of gold, but it molded from her cold.  She might have changed your ways, please don't let her take your soul.  Ignoring every sign I think that this is getting old. Sadly this the type of situation, Can't Control. 
    Now, how can I love someone, who don't love back? You can't, so tell yourself "it's done, that's a wrap".
   You know that it's sad, but that's the way that life goes.  If you focus on yourself then you will see pros.  Yes, the struggle is real and sometimes you may break. But God will only give you what you can take. Most days, I feel like I can't handle this pain. Except when I look to him, I cry and pray. 

Breakdown-

 Walking on this path, and yes my bag is packed. Steady flicking off the ash. It's hard to face the fact. Is hard to face the fact I need to change my act. Minds not intact but my feelings stacked.

Mixed this mostly on headphones, and now, listening back to a month later with different headphones, imagine my suprise! Shock and horror! And then on proper speakers... So I had to remix it, a little tweaking here and there,  and it sounds a lot better to me. Lesson learned, never mixing on headphones for the levels ect!

This was originally just a track I worked on to experiment with sounds, ebows ect, it was also an effort to find back the sound I had for drums and stuff after changing a harddrive (I lost some presets earlier).. then the Soundcloud algorithms figured to promote this more than any of the tracks that I've been more serious about!  At least its improved now.

and securely aimed

only to endure
hand to hand struggles

with two Viet Cong
bone-crushers
just outside.

On hands and knees
he crawled forward
one ankle shattered,
six ribs fractured,
to the center of
a grassy field,
feeding and trailing
off the detonator wires
like umbilical cords.

He rolled onto his back,
letting the hot
tropical sun,
saturate his aching
flesh and bones,
but his respite
was disturbed
by the sound of
advancing troops
headed his direction.

He belly-crawled
into the brush,
and lay low, his clackers
carefully removed from
a satchel under his arm,
and placed under his belly
leaving just a two inch gap,
then he held his breath to
still all movement.

Twenty-seven enemy Cong
entered the tunnel
passing by his cover,
but one rear scout
stumbled on him,
laying an AK-47 up
against his head.

He looked him right
in the eyes,
and wickedly smiled,
then flipped
the Cong soldier,
a middle finger,
and took a hard chest slam,
right across five clackers
triggering devices,
as the shot pierced his brain.

Twenty-seven enemy
destroyed in one blast,
leaving one Viet Cong alone,
with a very brave Marine corpse.

Amplify Me is the artist name of producer and guitar player Wim van Winsum. He lives in Groningen, the Netherlands.  All music of Amplify Me is produced on the Ableton Live DAW. All instruments are played by him. He loves to make electric guitar music.  His greatest inspirations have come from great guitar players such as Jimi Hendrix and Eric Clapton but also from players such as Mark Knopfler and Steve Vai. The most important thing about a good piece of guitar work is that it reaches you emotions and when the player experiences a direct line from the soul to the fingers while playing it. Some of his songs are guitar instrumentals, and some are recorded with Rick Winsome, one of his sons who is a great singer, especially rock, country rock or R&B. He does not focus on one particular style but all songs are recognizable as having a typical 'Amplify Me' style.
