Redoing the Players Path with the fretless bass this time around.
Players Path is a graded course of study presented by Scott's Bass Lessons consisting of 9 different levels from absolute beginners to experienced pro players. You will find the backing tracks for these pieces here: www.scottsbasslessons.com
At each level, there are pieces to choose from in various styles, and each one presents unique technical challenges. You pick 3 tracks to work on at a given level, and take as much time as you need in order to master them (or at least play them to the best of your ability) and then take a self-assessment in order to 'pass' a given level.
i'm not approaching these pieces in an academic manner though, because i'm really not all that interested in playing them note for note. i'm just looking at them as fun and interesting things to work on and to use as points of departure for my own personal interpretations of each track.
