🎻 Passendale – Echoes of the Fallen

1️⃣ Before the Storm — The Call of Destiny 0:00

Before the first shot was fired, a heavy silence hung over the fields of Flanders.
The sky was grey, the air thick with an unseen fear.
The orchestra breathes its first metallic breath  not of victory, but a call to war.
The brass echoes like an omen of something vast, something from which there is no return.
The strings tighten, trembling like hearts awaiting the unknown.
Every note is a prophecy, every rhythm a step toward a fate written only in blood.

2️⃣ The March of Shadows 0:38

The armies begin to move endless lines of men trudging through mud,
faces caught between faith and fear.
The drums pulse like the heartbeat of the earth.
The horns rise, singing of glory, yet behind every tone hides a tremor of doubt.
The rhythm builds,
as if thousands march together toward a destiny from which none will return.
Here, the orchestra becomes a living creature 
a massive, breathing army of sound advancing into the unknown.

3️⃣ The Iron Rain 1:03

The war ignites.
The music becomes a storm the sky raining fire.
Strings scream and collide, echoing the chaos of soldiers lost in smoke.
Every note strikes like a spark; every moment trembles on the edge of explosion.
There is no order, no melody only the roar of madness swallowing everything.
This is the sound of battle…
when chaos itself speaks instead of man.

4️⃣ Mud and Memory 1:30

After the iron rain, only mud remains
mud that devours everything.
Soldiers sink, rifles rust, dreams dissolve.
The strings grow colder, moving slowly, as if wading through the swamp.
Each note rises from the mud, each silence carries the echo of those who did not survive.
The music breathes with exhaustion not just sadness, but weariness.
It feels as though the earth itself is mourning what has been done upon it.
Memories cling to everything, and the sky stands still like an open grave.

5️⃣ The Hollow Victory 1:57

The battle is over… but at what cost?
Only the strings remain, weary and faint, trying to make sense of what happened.
The melody becomes slow, trembling between regret and disbelief.
There is no celebration, no anthem of triumph 
only a fragile line of sound collapsing upon itself,
like a soldier realizing that no one truly won.
Every vibration is a confession, every pause a muted cry.
It is the silence after the storm 
when survival itself feels like another kind of loss.

6️⃣ Requiem for the Brave 2:39

The piano stands alone,
its voice tender, as if gently touching the scars of memory.
The melody is pure and simple, yet heavy with sorrow.
Soft strings enter like spirits rising toward the light.
No more war, no more cries only peace forming quietly within pain.
A faint female choir hums in the distance whispering “ah... ooo...”,
not as song, but as prayer.
Every note is a tear, every chord a farewell.
The piano closes the story the way life closes its eyes — in calm surrender.
And in that stillness, one echo remains:
“We did not win… but we are not forgotten.”
