Story
The Rain and the Crocodile
In ancient times, when the Zambezi River mirrored the heavens and the earth still spoke with its own voice, people depended on the rain to survive. Without it, the fields turned to dust, and the villages were filled with hunger and silence.
One day, the rain disappeared. The elders said it had been captured by the crocodile, guardian of the deep waters. No one dared confront it, for its gaze was that of the spirits and its strength that of the earth itself.
But a young man named Nyasha, guided by his grandmother's wisdom, understood that courage was not about fighting against nature, but about communicating with it. He approached the river, carrying an offering: sorghum seeds and a song that spoke of the union between humans and animals.
The crocodile emerged, lightning flashing in its eyes. Nyasha did not back down. He sang with a firm voice, reminding everyone that the rain does not belong to any one being, but to all living things. The crocodile listened, and in his silence he understood the truth.
Then he opened his jaws and released the rain. The sky darkened, thunder rumbled, and the drops began to fall on the parched earth. The fields turned green, the children laughed, and the crocodile returned to the waters, keeping the pact of respect between humanity and nature.

After a long hiatus of trying to overcome some personal issues, burnout, and depression, I've finally completed another song <3

If I had to choose any meaning or inspiration for this song, it would be rebirth. Like a tree, cut down only to shoot off a new sprout from the stump. The sheer emotional feeling of overcoming everything you thought you couldn't.

Others, when listening, told me they thought of driving along in a futuristic city. I suppose that could be correct too, since we need to look forward if we want to let go of the past.

So there's a few spots that'll be really obvious, arent finished. everything after 3 minutes pretty much needs a lot of work, for the most part. Most of the work left is transitions, fixing chord progressions and adding more glitter/instruments to key spots to help build more sense of direction. But this shows the general direction i was thinking of going with this song
