Produced originally in march 2020, during the first pandemic lockdown, and patiently waited for the restrictions to be over, the 4 tracker ep contains " FREE ON THE DANCEFLOOR", a spoken words anthem for clubbers who want to get back to the free world of dark and sweaty dance floors, unites all together, and that's what this one is all about. 

The entire booming EP is a 4 on 4 mix of powerful grooves, arpeggiators, atmospheres and heavy stabs. 
Followed by a brilliant hard techno remix by rising star Nico Moreno!

By day, a high-achieving marketing executive, driven by analysis and order. By night, a chart-topping techno DJ and producer, driven by creativity and chaos. Luis Miranda is dichotomy personified. He is an introverted extrovert, who creates underground techno music that is perfectly formulated for the masses. 

Born in Madrid, the global citizen has lived in London, Singapore, and now resides in Los Angeles.

Luis’ passion and appreciation for music runs deep into his core. A classically trained musician and pianist from the Madrid Royal Conservatory, he began DJing at the wild age of 13, after sneaking into clubs in Spain, and becoming obsessed with techno pop and acid house. Enamored by the DJs he saw, Luis had to learn the art form, and taught himself by watching them night after night.

His impeccable technique is visible in both his performances and productions, with a vibrant techno style made of a combination of groovy, raw, and hard-hitting sounds. Luis mesmerizes audiences in some of the best clubs worldwide, from FabriK (MAD), Privilege (IBZ), Baum (BOG), and Vertigo (CR), to festivals like Burning Man, where Billboard Magazine selected his among the Top 10 Best Sets of 2018.

Luis’ passionate and electrifying sets are adored by fans around the world. It’s why he has seen skyrocketing growth in the few years he has been producing, reaching #1 in Beatport for his EP “Sensation” [KD Raw] in Feb 2021, and has been regularly featured in Spotify’s most-followed techno playlists. He has had his music released on some of the best known international  labels like KD Raw, JAM, Tronic, Analytic Trail, Unrilis, Phobiq, Odd, Unity, and Transmit. Luis’ tracks have been played by techno luminaries like Carl Cox, Sam Paganini, Richie Hawtin, Amelie Lens, Jay Lumen, and MarkAntonio, among others.

While Luis believes in techno’s power to uplift and bring light to the world, the DJ/producer studied Ninjutsu, and thus gravitates to techno’s roots in the dark shadows of warehouses, where he creates mind-altering experiences, and shakes audiences’ temporal lobes and feet with his new and old school influences. 

The sky’s the limit for the multi-faceted artist. Luis has new releases scheduled in 2022 with top labels like Octopus, Codex and KD Raw, and looks forward to bringing his powerful sets to music-lovers worldwide!

Interstate Records is a newborn independent record label based between London and Berlin. It´s run by the up-and-coming duo Dial Tone and aims to provide a vibrant and diverse platform for emerging and established artists within the Techno scene, whilst occasionally touching upon Ambient and other experimental music spheres. All records will be released on vinyl and digital (+ 8 weeks).

As an introduction, the label has put together a release, comprised of some of the scene’s most promising artists. Stretching from heart-melting deepness to pure club functionality, this V/A aims to highlight the different directions ahead, as the label continues to evolve.
