Joining the Upon.You Records-camp for their label debut is the Israelian powerhouse of Kadosh & Yost Koen, a production team which already has been making waves on labels like Aeon, Basswalk Records and others recently. Featuring two original tracks plus a remix created by Floyd Lavine their „Mindrum EP“ defo is some proper club fodder which will make a difference in DJ sets all over the place throughout the winter season.

Opening with the title track „Mindrum“ we see Kadosh & Yost Koen present a deep, rolling take on TechHouse with a spatial, slightly progressive twist bringing forth a certain mystique lying within the featured vocal sample whereas distinct tribal percussions and widescreen panorama signals lead towards epic breakdowns and a futuristic, techy evolution of the tunes original feel.

Following up is „Hertzog“, the second original tune on this single, which sees the pair of producers walking the line between deepest TechHouse realms and a (Neo)Trance-fueled approach with ever moving synth modulations and a beautiful minimalist main motif which immediately dissolves the dancefloors perception of space and time, opening the gates to a new level of all-embracing consciousness.  

Furthermore we see Floyd Lavine on remix duties for „Mindrum“, delivering his 'Floyd Lavine Back 2 Tribal Mix' as a masterly crafted homage to a highly energetic variation of House and TechHouse with multiple layers of carefully arranged percussions and a damp, fever'ish atmosphere for very hot and special nights out. Check.

Serbian producer and our good friend Space Motion is returning to us with another classy 'Brain Ride' release.
Last year was fruitful for Space Motion with a dense touring worldwide and the supports of the world's best House & Techno tastemakers like Solomun and Black Cofee, and this three tracker has all it needs.
The moody melodic formation of the main 'Brain Ride' track' slowly gets us to, from the first listen, allegedly dark and boosting 'Steps', but later, after uncurling into the middle of the release story the invisible thread of EP style is clearly becoming to be seen.
The closing 'Ultra Sequencer' track produced together with Siguiente Tecnologia worth another mention: the minimalistic, bright and extra-enswathing tune which perfectly shapes up this very special EP.

Romanian Native BOg makes welcomed return to Watergate Records, joining forces with LKF Project for new EP ‚Her Song‘. 

With a string of releases on some of electronic music’s most compelling labels including Crosstown Rebels, Bedrock and Diynamic, BOg has steadily forged his reputation as one to watch. Following his input to the ‚Watergate 25 – Adana Twins‘ compilation with ‚Tribelune‘, BOg returns to Watergate Records, this time teaming up with exciting new vocal-led outfit LKF Project who have already made waves with a release on Agoria’s Sapiens imprint.

‚Her Song‘ is driven by the sombre, ambient vocals of the LKF Project, underpinned by its undulating bassline. It ebbs and flows, gradually culminating to deliver a satisfying dancefloor moment. The dynamic Dub version of ‚Her Song‘ sees the track’s energy intensified, propelled forward by its intricate layers and breakbeats. The EP concludes with ‚Discrete Class‘, both rolling and introspective, it perfectly fuses the groove of house with the asceticism of techno, a sound that BOg’s signature style lends him to.

Indeed, whatever your predilection for House Music, we’ve got you covered here. From label lynchpin Steve Parry’s much coveted ‘Fenner’ which further strengthens his growing reputation as a top table producer to Israeli stalwart Magitman showing off his melodic credentials with the majestic ‘Mars 2020’. An interplanetary blast off of a tune. 

Newcomers Personna & Bloch then inject an electrifying youthful vibrancy into proceedings with ‘Endpoint’, already a firm favourite of Dave Seaman’s who insists ‘On Point’ may have been a more befitting title, before label favourite Athea returns to the fold with a no-nonsense heads down throbber in the form of ‘Rebel’. This is club music at its most vital. 

Next up, Berlin’s Smash TV gets deep down and dirty for the low slung groover that is ‘Freaks’, irresistible phatness of the highest order which is followed by the mysterious Mr E donning his alter ego for some serious superhero dance floor action courtesy of the beguiling ‘Lost’ and last but by no means least, Darksidevinyl & Balata combine for an Afro House anthem in the making. ‘Boohe’ is a towering representation of the genre. Tribal-tastic! 

In short, a magnificent seven that would have Bronson, Brynner & McQueen running for the hills.
