FRYR is the creative itch that needed to be scratched, of producer/DJ Ed Lodge.
Inspiration for this project stretches all the way back to the dance floors of the Hacienda, Hard Times and Cream, amongst others. From summers in Ibiza to years of being a vinyl junkie and an endless stream of mixtapes handed out to anyone who wanted to dance.

Influenced by artists like Roger Sanchez, Armand Van Helden, and Daft Punk, and labels like Subliminal and Roule. The aim is to craft music for the dance floor. Label releases in 2024 came out on Sleepless Records "Give Me...", Headfire International "Everybody Here", Top Phonic Records "On Air", and further releases later in the year on Atlantic Traxx " North Blue" and Natural Rhythm Records "Out of Hours". In 2025 three new tracks have featured on Natural Rhythms "Game of Tones Ibiza 2025" Compilation.

Several of my tracks, 'Never Forget' (30/4/22) 'Kaar-nuh-vuhl' (2/7/22 & 20/10/2023), Deep (One kiss) (18 & 20/8/22), Don't Say (27/8/2022 & 19/8/2023), Space Traveller (27/1/2023), Give me... (22 & 24/06/2023) and Let it in (14/10/2023) have all featured on BBC Introducing Cumbria. I have also been a featured artist and produced a mix for the show featuring 5 tracks which had two tracks that had featured before and 3 new ones (We go higher, Vive el momento & Sienta la emocion) on 21/10/2023. In 2024 "Hallas" and "On White Sands" featured on BBC Introducing Lancashire & Cumbria and already in 2025 "In The Dark" was played in January.

My compositions and lyrics are expressions of my personality and life experiences. I love punk and electro rock, techno, trance, experimental, groovy and stuff that has no genre.  I have no boundaries in either subject matter or style. Music has consumed my soul and is my driving force in life.
