MikeQ [Fade To Mind | Qween Beat | Mad Decent], is one of the leading figures of the US's long-running (but still largely underground) ballroom/vogue-house culture. Based in New Jersey, the very talented producer is not only one of the busiest DJs in the scene, but he also heads up his own “Qween Beat” Label and turns out a steady stream of vogue and ballroom tracks, re-edits, and remixes. Sweat Equity is thrilled to present its first entry into the world of wax with XP, a powerful drop from Philadelphia’s DJ Delish. Spanning six tracks, the record is a striking introduction to a singular talent.

DJ Delish lives at the epicenter of East Coast club culture, having cut her teeth on the ballroom circuit as both a DJ and performer. She's also toured as the DJ for another Philadelphia mainstay, Spank Rock, and built a reputation for her rapid-fire track selections and relentless energy. Over the past few years, she’s also unleashed a string of self-released EPs and albums on her SoundCloud, as well as a split single with Sweat Equity’s Macy Rodman. XP marks her first outing on vinyl, and she pulls no punches.

The record is a rich landscape, flawlessly weaving between ballroom, hip-hop, ballads and house. Her command of multiple musical forms speaks to her time both in the booth and on the dancefloor. The vital energy of each track is matched only by the wit and incisiveness of her lyrics, with songs about everything from shady promoters to sexual intrigue. Her wealth of experience and abundant narrative ingenuity bring personal stories and intricate histories to life.

The Trans Day Of Remembrance is a day we mourn our siblings who were murdered because of the hatred towards trans people. 
One of the most popoular documented murder of a trans woman was Venus Xtravaganza, a young iconic Latina famous for her appearance in "Paris is Burning". 
She was found four days later, on Christmas day, strangled and hidden under a bed at the Duchess Hotel in New York. 
The murderer never got caught. The death of Venus still hurts so much, because we have a documented tape which shows the aspiring model so full of life with all of her dreams and hopes. 
She stands for so many young trans women who are murdered every day. 
This set is an homage to Venus and thus and homage to all the young girls gone too soon. As much as they want us dead, we will keep on living and dancing. 
This is not a mournful set, it is a set like Venus, vivid, cunt, sassy and sexy!
