Singer-Songwriterin ANICA aus Karlsruhe gehört vermutlich zu einem der letzten Jahrgänge, die in ihrer Kindheit und Jugend noch mit Kassetten hantiert haben. Ihr neues Album The Almost Forgotten Mixtape (VÖ: März 2016) ist deshalb eine Hommage an ihre selbst aufgenommenen Kassetten, deren Zauber auch nach Jahren nicht verloren geht. Vielfältiger denn je kommt die Platte in poppiger Singer-Songwriter-Manier daher – ein Mixtape eben. Und dennoch ist jeder Song 100% ANICA!
