As a DJ he has played along such leading worldwide representatives on electronic music scene as John Digweed, Guy J, Henry Saiz, Jimmy Van M, and Luis Junior. Apart from this all Svyatoslav is the owner of Stereo Paradise label, as well as the co-owner of highly successful Dear Deer imprint on which he focuses at the moment.

In 2014 Tvardovsky debuted on Spring Tube Limited with the remix on Stephen J. Kroos' "Codd" which was our absolute bestseller past year. Now, in 2015, we present you Svyatoslav's single release on his great original track "Black Ocean" from our latest sampler.

Our catalogue number 24 is a very emotive one with a clear focus on the dancefoor but also for your great listening pleasure. The “Susurrus” EP is featuring the young Dutch German talent Raphael Hofman - The berlin based producer with regular gigs at the legendary Sisyphos already has a rich experience starting at the tender age of 16 hosting his own electronic club series, Djing as well as singing and playing the guitar.

His musicality and talent in producing beautiful soundscapes and rhythmic structures fnds expression on this smooth 2 tracker, the “Susurrus” EP.

The remixes are coming from two very promising newcomers. Portsmouth own Kris Davis stirring up the underground with his emotive, analog crafted techno since 2014 as well as Bird Of Paradise, who has recently fast tracked to prominence via his output on Correspondant and New Yorks “Throne Of Blood”.

Susurrus opens this release with a sunrise. Vanishing soundscapes leading to a synth melody that hits your heart and carries you evolving throughout this tune with a straight honest techish groove keeping it together.

Bird of Paradise’s version is bringing “Sussurus” to a diferent level. Moviish soundscapes paired with a demanding acid line. The groove is a unique mix of 80ish elements and modern percussive parts which will surely fnd his afcionados.

Nightmare is not so nightmarish as it’s title. It’s more a hymn dedicated to those who can’t stop dancing till dawn. Dark but not gritty. Driving but still with the regard for the morning hours as well as droppable in the prime time hours.

Kris Davis already has a very distinctive trademark sound which you can fnd in his interpetation of “Nightmare”. Emotive, deep and ambient but not loosing paying attention to the crowd. A great piece.

Why do we tell stories? 

We breathe, we eat, we sleep. We seek connection. These are our basic human needs. 

But there is one more need we all share, and it centres on stories. All across the world, stories are being recounted everywhere, in every imaginable way, at any given time. For telling stories is at the very essence of what it is to be human. 

The universe of stories can be broken down into seven basic plots which underlie all stories ever told. Recognising these patterns is the gateway to unravelling the universal symbolic language from which all storytelling is spun.

With Rags To Riches, Chapter 24 returns with seven stories in sound collected from artists across the world to bring these themes to life.

The compilation begins with Oliver Schories, a titan of the scene who regularly bestrides labels such as Suara, Stil vor Talent and his own SOSO. ‘Eno’ is an arp-led driving track overlaid with a hooky cut up vocal that perfectly sets us on our way.

Darin Epsilon (Renaissance, Sudbeat, Hope) brandishes his own thunderbolts with ‘Jenova’, an effortless and deep cut of musical techno that sparkles with hints of summer.

JOBE (Connaisseur, Selador) is up next with ‘Aurora’, exemplifying his both timeless and forward-thinking approach to production. A killer sub line takes hold over cosmic atmospheres.

The cornucopia of treats continues with the addition of newcomer Roundhead, a highly talented 22 year old Italian producer who delivers the massive ‘Durante il Viaggio’. Analogue synths are coupled with outstanding organic elements.

Einmusika and Chapter 24 artist Christopher Ivor’s dreamy and emotional ‘Back Home’ retains the organic and instrumental features, coupling them with his signature grooves - before label regular KatrinKa adds her own wistful, evocative contribution with ‘Fragments’.

Finally, Danny Oliveira makes his return to Chapter 24 in combination with his partner George Gomes with his new act, Shades of Light. ‘Sierra’ is a widescreen and ambitious piece: deep, dirty and beautiful music to rule the cosmos.

They say that there are only seven basic plots but a thousand different stories.

And so, as the storyteller utters that age old, magical phrase "Once upon a time...", let yourself be carried away…

Set off by a simple and consistent bassline, a tangible drum beat, we are lured into the 7:51 track with a steady grate of percussion followed by a gradual interpolation of electronic application. Complex strata of organic and synthetic sounds emerge fluidly and ascend into a harmonious climax, which with the brief omission of the dominant drum beat, preludes into the first vocal at exactly one minute. A beautiful interchange between instrumental and vocal and Stereocalypse’s dextrous play of diminishing and aggrandizing elements to draw on and draw out the emotions of the original track, are the vim and vigor of this remix. Through a firm and innovative control of tempo and complexity, the remix accentuates the turbulent emotional implications of the track’s lyrics, making it more poignant. WhoMadeWho’s provocative music videos are the icing on the cake to their music, adding the third dimension to their exceptional lyrics and sound. In their remix of I Don’t Know, Stereocalypse’s adds the right elements that bring listeners as close to an audio-visual experience as possible. Hence, there is no wonder that what WhoMadeWho bandmember Tomas Barfod identified as 'a very mellow remix', continues to infiltrate dance floors. Barfod, co-producer of the track had already said it best: 'It somehow turns out to be quite euphoric when played in the club.'

We are turning the page of our next edition of 'Terra Incognita', the third edition full of different and diverse paths it can lead the listeners to. Starting we reveal Habischman - the experienced Iranian producer, releasing his music via top notch labels as Noir Music, Dubfire's SCI+TEC and Get Physical. 'Aperture' comes as a great opener, conjuncted as a delicate blend of vintage dub-chords, elegant vocals and dramatic, hypnotic synths. Italian producer Stephan Jolk, who is putting out his music lately with Hommage and Beatfreak Recordings, can definitely make the synthesizers breathe. His 'Overdub' is a perfect combination of the minimalistic approach to the world of melodies: the pulsing melodic themes are wisely placed into sharply produced strained beat, which are coming together as a great tune as a result. US based artist Enamour has shown himself as a very promising artist, working with the labels as Yoshitoshi and Anjunadeep, so the stated words of Enamour to be a 'a curator of dark, infectious grooves and wistful atmospheres' is perfectly describing this talented producer at his best. 'Pet Paradox' is a firm thing, lying somewhere between genres and far ahead trends. Argentinian Tomy Wahl delivers his stomper 'Matka' next on the line: a powerful bass shaped track with a dramatic piano breakdown and glitchy proper drums. We close a pack with 'Hong Kong Harbour' track from Netherlands based producer Tom Zeta (Diynamic, Einmusika, KATERMUKKE).
