Rafael Osmo is a producer, DJ, artist, and sound designer whose name has become increasingly associated with emotional depth, refined production, and a forward-thinking vision within the global trance scene. Born in 1983, Rafael began his journey in electronic music at the age of 16 in 1999, developing over the years a distinctive artistic identity built on rich melodic trance, progressive influences, and a modern melodic techno sensibility. His sound is both timeless and current — combining classic trance emotion with contemporary sonic precision.

Over the course of his career, Rafael Osmo has established himself as a respected and prolific figure in electronic music, known for his ability to merge atmosphere, melodic storytelling, and technical excellence into a signature sound that resonates across dancefloors and streaming platforms alike. Ranked #60 on Beatport as a Trance Raw artist, he has earned recognition for a musical style defined by power, elegance, and a deeply intuitive approach to sound design. His rare ability to connect textures, movement, and emotional intensity with such precision has led many leading artists in the scene to refer to him as “The Octopus” — a reflection of his exceptional touch in shaping sound from every angle.

Among the artists who played a defining role in establishing Rafael’s presence on the international stage are Paul van Dyk and Giuseppe Ottaviani. Through this support, Rafael went on to release more than 50 tracks on VANDIT, one of trance music’s most iconic labels, alongside a major collaboration with Paul van Dyk himself.
