Jose "hzy" Portales is an esteemed DJ and producer from the Dallas-Fort Worth area, specializing in progressive/melodic trance and techno. He is widely known for techno, "pero del bueno" with an added "progressive-dark-melodic" twist. 

Hzy has played open support for world renowned acts such as Morten, Grammy-Nominee Matt Lange, Orjan Nilsen, Arctic Moon, and Bryan Kearney as well as sharing stage with acts for music festivals such as headliners ranging from Bassjackers, Henry Fong to Giuseppe Ottaviani, Oliver Smith, Sunny Lax, John 00 Fleming, John O’Callaghan, Markus Schulz, Ilan Bluestone, Jerome Isma-ae and Sander van Doorn. Received support from Armin van Buuren, Sean Tyas and others.
