Richie Hawtin provided the following comment on the remix: “Released in the early 90s, the original Jack Master EP was a pseudo-name that I used to record fun classic Chicago inspired tracks that were made for my DJ sets.  Slam’s new updated take on the original, uses the original voice sample (that’s actually mine) and reworks the track into a full throttle stomping jack track perfect for todays dance floors!”

Write upWhen it comes to techno it does not come much bigger than Yin Yang artist Phutek, now lets mix that up and add one of the most prolific hard house producers of all time in to the mix, you have what is a classic track in the making. BK also known under his real name Ben Keen join forces with Phutek for what can only be described a Paradox.

This is a killer original track with outstanding production skills and qualities. This is real techno with a quality 909 driving some bad ass background sounds.

Remixes are courtesy of Yin Yang finest producers residents.. 

HP Source are the men of the moment and this remix is another one of their massive tracks (I’m saying that like only some of them are - HEY they are ALL massive). They take the original and again make it sound their own. Great use of the 909 too. This is a ANTHEM remix.. Its massive.

Hell Driver.. Well this french man is always on fire. Ben Hell driver takes the original parts and comes up with anthem of tech crossover. This is will have a lot of the many cross over Yin Yang artists super excited.. Yes.. It really is that good.. This again is an anthem remix..

Steve Shaden.. The Italian Stallion., This guy has taken the original parts and made it dark it true Shaden Style. Always a quality remix by this legend. Steve just gets better and better. I truly believe this is his best remix to date. Another superb killer remix .. amazing

Lastly but never least.. we have new boy to Yin Yang.. Dario Sorano.. Now what an excellent remix this is.. This is just a pure techno pounding remix that just drives and drives again making GREAT use of the original parts.. Absolutely belting remix

Originally written exclusively for the Gouryella live shows, Dimension is the only outside artist to contribute to these live shows other than Ferry Corsten himself. 

Dopamina builds on that typical uplifting Dimension sound that made him the producer we all know and love. Driving towards the break on a highly addicting riff and rolling bassline, Dopamina comes to full bloom the minute the strings and piano enter which showcase his enormous musical talent. Showcasing a fantastic melody that, as according to Ferry, “always gets every floor moving”, Dopamina is another home run for Dimension.

Musical genius Airwave returns to Bonzai Progressive for 2017 with the delectable Amber Sky which comes backed up with two top notch remixes. As always we're blown away by this guy's brilliance, he manages to bring that WOW factor to everything he touches, his productions remain consistently of a very high standard which will continue for a very long time. 2016 was another big year for Laurent Veronnez, he ramped up his DJ profile with gigs all over the world and solidifying his stance among his army of fans. His last outing Pray For Happiness on JOOF Recordings gained a lot of support and we've no doubt that this one will follow suit.

Amber Sky delivers a beautifully constructed simplistic track that packs a massive punch. Airwave's trademark pumping kick drums lead the charge before a deep and lush rumbling bassline enters to the backdrop of mysterious layered FX. An intensity creeps in as the track builds while a calming pad fills the background. The lead melody comes through and marries perfectly to the changing notes of the bassline. The break dishes out a wonderful soundscape filled with rich pads and droning bass that fade off leaving a tempo increasing build up before slamming right back into the main track for the duration. Superb stuff that will not disappoint.

Basil O'Glue aka Greek DJ and producer Haris Vasiloglou is up first on remix duties and, after appearing on a few compilations for us in the past, this one marks his Bonzai Progressive debut. Having honed his musical taste through listening to many different styles he discovered that he had a penchant for electronic music. Through hard work and devotion he started to produce his own music and he found himself releasing on labels such as Coldharbour, Saturate Audio, Afterglow and Armada to name just a few. The remix intros with a proper oldskool progressive vibe that offers a deep warmth to the sound as throbbing bassline makes its way through. Beautifully crafted FX and a tight drum arrangement deliver a solid rhythm while floating subtle melodies come in. We are soon embroiled in a more contemporary euphoric sound as wide pads and big synths are introduced. A seriously banging track that is a definite must have.

Jamie Baggotts returns with another top notch remix. His last effort was on remix duties for Platunoff's Primavera which proved popular among many. With a slew of top quality cuts under his belt here at BP, Jamie is establishing himself as a solid artist and very much in demand. Lots more to come from this guy no doubt so keep an eye and an ear on him. On the remix here we set off with huge pounding kick drums accompanied by crispy hats and a bubbling bassline. In the background mysterious pads shimmer as an intensity starts to build. The bassline transforms into a powerful rolling pattern while melodic synths fade in. The break offers a short respite where we're treated to a beautiful array of sounds that contrast between the low and high frequencies before slamming back into full on mode. Not to be missed.

John Lennon - Imagine!! Just saying the artist and track name makes the hairs on the back of my neck tingle. It started out as merely an idea of bringing a timeless, iconic track with global recognition and unique message to a Trance audience. Charlie and I worked tirelessly for a solid 3 weeks in preparation for Gatecrasher's 20th Birthday celebrations. It was initially meant to be a surprise, one-off track and understandably, we had concerns about how it would be received.

Needless to say, we shouldn't have been. By the time my set had finished, I was inundated with questions about this unknown Trance remix of John Lennon - Imagine.

Armin was due to play Creamfields in 2014 and I had only ever played the tune again as an encore track in Liverpool which had generated even further interest. I figured that with the prolific Beatles connection (Cream being a Liverpool based club brand), he might possibly consider supporting. We sent it to him on the Friday of the event and knew that it was late in the day but a good tune is a good tune!! 🙂

The track was one of the highlights of his set and from
that point on, it was featured throughout his Armin Only Intense tours for a solid 2 years from Ultra Miami to ASOT Sydney to Electric Zoo in NYC!! The rest as we can all say is history!
