Roam Recordings is thrilled to announce the debut single "Ganga Tanga" from Mexican artists Borgetti and Josefo. This original single features an infectious chant backed by driving percussion and rugged synthwork. 

The "Ganga Tanga" EP is backed by remixes from Roam alumni Roe Deers and Mijo. Roe Deers gets wonderfully quirky by playing up the hypnotic percussion, tripping out the vocal, and rolling it over a heavy yet playful bassline. Mijo, on the other hand, strips the track down to its raw essence contrasting lush pads with percussion overdriven to perfection.

Field Of Dreams are Chris Kentish & Alan Mackenzie. Both have produced many tracks on their own or with other bands (Field Theory and D:Ream being the obvious ones!) but fate has thrown them together and they can't stop making tunes! They have releases out or due on Pleasure Unit and Clandestino Records. Their remix of Les Crocodiles’, La Nuit Des Tropiques is an ALFOS staple and has met universal approval. There will be more. Over the past year or so Field Of Dreams have been gaining support from many of the heavy hitters on the scene without actually having any music released. Their huge remix of Les Crocodiles', 'La Nuit Des Tropiques' being a case in point. That's now been remedied with their recent releases on Pleasure Unit being quickly followed by this monster. Released on their own label and remixed expertly by one of those heavy hitters, Mr Andrew Weatherall, and the hugely talented Mind Fair, this is set to explode.

The Original Vocal mix tips its hat to that 90's indie, progressive dance championed by the Guvnor back then, featuring a heavy breakbeat, huge bassline, dub pianos and panpipes! Then there's the vocalist, Mr Bradley, who sounds, uncannily, like a certain Mr Lydon which may throw some but works a treat. Strap yourself in and enjoy the ride.  Mind Fair drop the pan pipes and most of the vocals, beef up the kick and concentrate on the opening riff, adding a few more drums. Andrew dubs it out adding 808 drums with Al’s vocal repeating throughout.

3 FOD Nothing Is Perfect (Andrew Weatherall Remix)

Winner of a song contest run by a German underwear and bathing suit company in 1984. The prize was the production of a song with professional musicians - namely this very song. Judging by her rapping skills, the competition must have been a little on the weak side of things... 😆 It needed some seriously cheesy Schlager bits removed and more of the electronic good stuff. The remix album “Hands On Artificial'' welcomes 11 diverse electronic music producers from Lithuania who have expressed their personal interpretation of the duo's Artfcl compositions from their debut album “Artificial”. Artfcl's debut album "Artificial" consists of 16 tracks. According to the authors, efforts have been made to create the album in an extremely eclectic manner, so that neither the mood nor the musical styles nor the timbre will be repeated while listening to the album. The result is great - each track tells its own story, but at the same time complements the overall concept of the album. The idea to remix the album was thrown out to the active participants of the Lithuanian electronic music scene. Eleven participants have responded. They all had to choose their favorite track to remix. Some chose a few. The compilation contains 22 remixes from prominent electronic music artists revealing themselves in different music genres like ambient, electronica, IDM, or techno. This remix album is an explosion of today’s Lithuanian electronic music delivering the super actively creating artists from the local scene. All of them create the future sound of Lithuanian electronic music. The compilation contains amazing works from Auren, Black Water, Dubonautik, Five Rituals, Jaroška, Lulu, Monikaze, Phun Thomas, Roe Deers, Shkema, and Artfcl themselves. Artfcl “Hands On Artificial'' remix album is available in all digital music stores as well as all music streaming platforms. The album is sponsored by Lithuanian Council for Culture.
