To celebrate 20 years of building Labyrinths, we have decided to release one set from each of the last ten years. I've chosen ten timeless moments that both document the history of the event and provide a historical snapshot of underground electronic music over the past ten years.

We have chosen a broad range--from closing techno sets, to morning ambient sets, to experimental sets to close the night. Each set represents a different side of the event. Taken together, they present a portrait of a decade of music.

The Labyrinthの20周年を記念して、過去10年間を振り返り、それぞれの年からひとつのミックスをピックアップすることにしました。イベントの歴史を記録すると同時に、過去10年間のアンダーグラウンドエレクトロニックミュージックの歴史的なスナップショットを提供します。今聞いても色褪せない、タイムレスな極上のミックスをお楽しみください。

テクノのクロージングセットから、朝のアンビエントセット、そして夜を締めくくるエクスペリメンタルセットまで幅広いセレクトですが、どのセットもThe Labyrinthの欠かせない側面を表しており、ここ10年におけるエレクトロニック ミュージックの全容とも言えるでしょう。

We're very excited to welcome Dj wiggles to the series who has quickly become a firm favourite of ours via mixes and shows on Kindred, Netil Radio, Rinse FM and Origin Tapes to name a few.  

With a regular show on Netil Radio, Dj wiggles is breaking through the London club scene and beyond. Founder of the event and mix series' kinetic and off limits, Dj wiggles is here to mainly give a platform emerging artists with the hope of being able to help build the artist's profile, in turn gaining more regular gigs and enter a scene which often times feels off limits as well as encourage more diverse lineups within nightlife. 

Leaning more into the trippy, wormhole soundscapes, the past year in particular has seen Dj wiggles play iconic events and venues including the likes of Risen festival, Colour Factory, Bodily, Patterns, Above Below festival and more (definitely recommend checking out Dj wiggles' set from Above Below once you've finished here!)

It’s been quite some time since we last put out a mixtape on the Fuaim series, and we’re delighted to kickstart things again with a feature from NYC talent jek. Jack has been making quite the name for himself within the US scene, all the while gaining plenty of traction across the pond, with the first release of his Earth Dog Records (@earthdogbk) imprint coming out earlier this year.

Recorded live at Nowadays (@nowadaysnyc) back in September for Aurora Halal’s (@itsallhalal) residency, this mix effortlessly glides from deep & dubby tones to bouncy, pumping club tracks. It’s one of them mixes that epitomizes the development of an opening slot, maneuvering it’s way through a myriad of psychedelic textures before handing over to Maara (@maara) on the night.

For the concept of this mix I wanted to put together a selection of tracks inspired by some of my favourite moments on the dance floor this year. Those times when the night stretches into early morning, and the energy is electric, yet the atmosphere is mystical and dark.

For the mix I tried to focus on the stripped back low-end driven sides of trance and progressive music, hopefully capturing the energy and atmosphere of those memorable sections of club nights.

As the mix unfolds, there's a progression in energy to play on being drawn deeper into those nights where you can feel that building sense of liveliness and anticipation.

Unfortunately Dublin’s party scene is fairly limited because of the laws around opening hours which are hopefully changing soon, but I really like what @the_solace_space are doing as a party and a collective 

+ 𝐚 𝐥𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐃𝐉 𝐲𝐨𝐮’𝐝 𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐛𝐢𝐠 𝐮𝐩?

Wasn’t a club experience but it would have to be @draaimolen this year, it was something very special to witness and I was riding a high after it for weeks

+ 𝐝𝐞𝐬𝐜𝐫𝐢𝐛𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐚𝐥 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐲?
Needs to have a crispy and punchy sound system, then some trippy minimal lighting, an energetic crowd with lots of space and probably somewhere in nature like a forest or a mountain range

How friendly everyone is, I didn’t realise this until someone mentioned it to me recently, but after doing a bit of travelling and thinking about it Dublin does have a special way about it when it comes to the people. There’s warmness and friendliness you experience on a night out that’s hard to find anywhere else

The vocals of Paranoid London's "Paris Dub 1" over Mr. G's "Let Down (Badly)" – they complement each other perfectly.

Welcoming the lovely Refuge Worldwide co-founder and dub-master @richard-akingbehin to the Animix series this week, with a beautiful journey of minimal house infused with his signature dub styles.

Clear in his DJ'ing, but also his work with @refugeworldwide, and his immaculately curated label, @kynant-records, Richard is an all-round classy selector, and a champion of community. Through his various outputs, his deep & considered knowledge and taste shines. 

Richard always impresses me with the diversity of moods he presents via his DJ'ing, hybrid collaborations with legend Tikiman, b2bs with other legends like livwutang, and his label - a diversity that's always strung together with his incredibly distinctive psychedelic, soothing dub formula.
