The first in Misguided’s new mix series. MISLAB is a space for unrestricted sound and movement.

Blame The Mono is a Franco-British duo shaping the next wave of techno. Their raw, driving sound has landed them on Molekül, Taapion, and Involve Records, with club appearances at RSO, Kompass Club, and Grelle Forelle.

This mix comes ahead of their upcoming EP "Sample and Hold", out on Misguided March 14.

MISLAB Mix 001 | Blame The Mono

Klaps is a Belgian DJ and techno producer known for his high-energy productions and dynamic sets. Based in Houthalen, his love for electronic music began at age eight when his father gifted him a record player—a moment that sparked a lifelong journey.

He’s played standout sets at major festivals including Tomorrowland, Extrema Outdoor, and Pukkelpop, where his Boiler Room appearance left a lasting impression. With support from heavyweights like Richie Hawtin, Pan-Pot, Reinier Zonneveld, Luigi Madonna, and Charlotte de Witte, Klaps has cemented his place in the techno scene. He also runs his own label, Get In Line, dedicated to powerful, groove-driven techno.

This mix was recorded on a sunny Friday afternoon in his living room. It's the sound he’d bring to a peak-time outdoor festival—happy, high-energy, and designed for a crowd fully immersed in the moment.
