Hoard

Brick Head is the solo project of Sarah of the Almighty Deaf Wish, and it grazes unheralded corners of post-Sonic-Youth ruins. Part Oakland-Budget-Rock, part Stooges-stomp, part Ramones, but all swaggering rock-n-roll pride like only our Down South Australian neighbors can produce. Proto-punk for the new global pseudo-socialism, perhaps? 

Dumb hooks, snarky punk 'tude, is this 2005? Carolyn (from Parsnip?) on drums, and mastered by the ever-proficient Mikey Young. It's leaving me hungry for an album...but this is the album! Isn't it?
