Coming from the heart of Bosnia, Solomun is a passionate DJ who certainly knows how to please a crowd and keep the energy on the floor. Equally as talented and creative in the studio, he has many releases to his name on his own label Diynamic, as well as other imprints such as Four:Twenty, liebe*detail and Dessous recordings. Made for the dancefloor, his productions always have an element of funk or surprise, reminding people of the fun that's there to be had with music. As a label with many close ties to mobilee records, Diynamic will be co-hosting a party at mobilee's Sonar 2010 celebrations, which makes it even more fitting that this release brings the two forces more closely together.

Solomun's next big bang, being brought to you via Leena music, is a sure extension of his impeccable production skills and style, and is also one of the most unique releases you will here on the label so far. A-side 'Sisi' opens with a head-spinning explosion of notes and chords, being fired out like sparks in a continual loop. Then half way through the record, they dramatically stop, only to soon build up again and set the roller coaster off once more. B-side 'Talk To The Hand' is a bass-heavy and punchy track, that surprises you with euphoric piano chords in the second half, whilst B2 'Curesto' brings all of the elements together with piano chords, build-ups and some drama. 02 - DRYDECK - READY TO WOBBLE

From "Underground Wobble"

In 2005, the album Wave Digger paves the way for two years of tour in France and worldwide, multiplying encounters and collaborations (Wangtone with Wang Lei, Zentone with Zenzile, Re-Processed remixed by their mates) and diffusing their tribal electro-dub, blending heavy breaked bassline and nervous scratches. They come back in 2007 with "Underground Wobbles" : their fourth opus seems more calm, far from Jungle, Hip Hop, Electronica or Dub experimentations, typical of Wave Digger. Entering more downtempos spheres, machines and programmation left space for instruments. Narrative and often complex compositions absorb the listener in a psychedelic and misty trip (Understellar, Round Trip...), highly-seasoned here and there by nervous and fickle tracks (Freakency, Ask The Dust, Speed 110).

As far as harmonies and melodies are concerned, they evolved too, taking High Tone to a sound more accomplished than ever, recognizable anywhere, possessed by teeming influences... To cut a long story short, with his so personnal style, High Tone mixes with a disconcerting talent electronic musics, ethnic samples and surgical scratches. Underground Wobble assert itself as the cornerstone of the works, in constant evolution, of a group tirelessly guided by clearing up new horizons, by the opening of new ways, with as line of sight the willing to never paraphrase oneself. That state of mind is the privilege of the great and the good.

Après cinq albums auto-produit disponibles en libre-téléchargement, une édition vinyle et une centaine de concerts Jean-Paul dub continue l’aventure dub en live pour défendre Neway sortie en février 2012 sur les routes de France et de Pologne. Sortie du prochaine opus : NEW CUTS en octobre 2013. 

7. JEAN PAUL DUB - New Step

Créé par deux frères, ODG est né à Tours en France en 2004. Puisant directement son inspiration dans le “french-dub” des années 90, le projet se fait connaître peu à peu par ses E.p disponibles en libre téléchargemet sur son propre net label Original Dub Gathering (www.odgprod.com) qui comporte de nos jours plus de 40 références en libre partage. Depuis 2007 le duo est devenu trio, permettant au groupe de dévoiler une réelle fusion de styles, un live à la fois électronique et instrumental fondé d’une part sur le “dub sound system” à l’anglaise, et d’autre part sur le style “électro-éthno” français. Après de nombreux concerts aux cotés d’artistes internationalement reconnus comme Horace Andy, Mad Professor, Iration Steppa, Dj Aphrodite, Mungos Hifi… , ODG travaille aux côtés de Biga Ranx sur 6 tracks de son premier album On Time. Fin 2011 le groupe annonce la sortie de son nouveau projet, triptyque épique retraçant les différentes expérimentations musicales du trio, la première partie nommée Bad Side signe une entrée en matière résolument dubstep, un teaser est dors et déjà disponible sur www.odgprod.com.
