MoDem Festival‬ in Croatia is widely considered one of the best, and most important, festivals on the psytrance calendar. It’s influence on the festival scene cannot be understated. When I started making this music, I promised myself that, before I was 30, I wanted to play on the Hive stage. Well, 5 days before my 30th birthday, I had the honour of doing just that. It did not disappoint, and it was the best dancefloor I have ever had the privilege of experiencing.

I decided early on that this was where I was going to debut my new album (forthcoming soon on Bom Shanka Music) and record the entire set. So, here it is – the full video of my set on Thursday 8th August 13:30-15:00 on the Hive.

Thank you to everyone that danced, everyone that filmed and everyone that gave me emotional support in the stress of finishing the tracks before the gig! Antu Records presents MANAUS with a mix ​​inspired by the planetary alignment that will be present in October on Easter Island, Chile. From the mountains of Cunco in Wallmapu, Chile's Ninth Region, MANAUS (Claudio Eduardo Ramos Figueroa) emerges, paying tribute to his father, MANAO, DJ. Since 2018, after moving to Easter Island (I pito o te henua Rapa Nui), he embarked on his DJ career, captivated by Psychedelic and Fullon Night music.  In 2020, he was invited to join the prestigious OVNIMOON RECORDS label, which opened doors for him to perform at various events via streaming throughout Chile and internationally in Peru, Brazil, Argentina, Mexico, and Belgium. In 2021, he released his first track as a Psychedelic Trance producer with his single HAKA MATARA in collaboration with ITAL under the Antu Records label.  Thanks to his perseverance and dedication, in 2022, he was invited to join the Mexican label Magnetic Noize Records. In 2024, he continues to rise, now representing two South American labels: Antu Records from Chile and Andean Tribe from Bolivia.

Insomnia Records series’ continues with CHROMATEC.

Responsible for this project is Flo from Munich, Germany. Back in the year 1993, he get in touch with electronic music for the first time. A few years later he began playing techno @ parties around Munich.
In 2006 he started producing his own music. After discovered psychedelic music in summer 2009 while visiting some festivals with friends who introduced him to the psychedelic culture, he experimented with this kind of sound and decided to focus completely on psychedelic music production.
His sound nowadays could be categorized as deep and atmospheric nighttime music, defined by deep basses, complex rhythms and abstract soundscapes.

KIKX has been exploring electronic music and dancefloors since 1994. He began djing Psytrance music in 2001 and started his own label Purple Hexagon Records in 2008, with the aim to promote the music and to collaborate with the artists he had been playing in his dj sets. The role of label manager has contributed to further expand his music knowledge, bringing his ear training to the next level and allowing him to gain a fresh and strong musical awareness. Kikx is mainly known for his psychedelic dj sets, in which he develops a groovy yet hypnotic twilight oriented journeys that keep the dancefloor up and dancing. However, over the years his music quest has expanded into diverse electronic music genres, bringing him to explore alternative stages at major worldwide festivals. Shadow Shaman (Forestdelic Records) is the Night-Psy project of Gareth Gordon Steyn he produces and performs energetic psychedelic trance with the dankest full power basslines layered with a unique combination of edgy mind melting mechanical leads and bubbly textures. 148bpm to 152bpm is where he thrives, keeping the perfect balance between psychedlia and Light hearted fun on the dance floor. Gareth has studied percussion and music theory and he applies this knowledge in his sound design resulting in complex rhythms and patterns, emphasizing on intricate arrangements and relentless momentum.

SHADOW SHAMAN | Forestdelic Records Series Vol.44 | 19/12/2019

Full Lotus is a Psychedelic DJ based in London and signed to Parvati Records. At the age of 12 he discovered the word 'psychedelic' whilst reading a comic and after looking up the meaning, decided that it could be fun. 

He started DJing on vinyl whilst at university playing a mixture of Alternative and Psychedelic rock and formed a student society with a focus on mainly 60's psychedelia. During this time he was exposed to underground electronic dance music from the early 90's UK scene and heard some people talking about 'Goa' parties and 'Goa' music and thought this also sounded like it could be fun.

Following a trip to Goa in late 1995, he became hooked on the music he heard at the beach parties and upon returning in early 1996, he began attending numerous Goa style parties in London. The following year he started organizing trance/techno events with a friend and started to DJ in London. In 1998 he became a resident DJ for the Kundalini party organization. This was the start of the Full Lotus project. After hearing the first Parvati Records compilation, First Step, he embraced this particular sound and became one of the first DJ’s in the UK to play it at parties.

With over thirty years of experience behind the decks, he is a regular fixture on the London psychedelic trance scene and currently plays what is known these days as dark/forest psychedelic trance or as he used to call it, twisted night time funk. His DJ sets are performed with the intention of making both your body and mind dance.
