Francesca a.k.a Psykia, is an eclectic DJ and Producer from the underground Psy Trance music scene, she studied music throughout her adolescence and got a diploma in Electronic Music Production in 2004. 

After spending few months in Goa in 2008 she began her journey as DJ exploring all the nuances of forest/dark/psytrance but also progressive, techno and chillout.

Psykia has been djing around the world for many years now, she has also started making her own sounds lately and released tracks for killer labels such as Lycantrop Rec., Banyan Rec., Forestdelic Records and more. 

Her continuous research and peculiar taste of music has made her internationally loved by many followers thanks to her deep, atmospheric, powerful sets.

After a few years based in London she is currently back in Rome, her hometown, but she never stops travelling and playing at major parties and festivals alongside the biggest names on the international psytrance scene, she played at Universo Paralello Festival (Brasil), Tribal Gathering (Panama), Modem Festival (Croatia), Lost Theory Festival, Kalimela Festival (Spain), Atman Festival (Sri Lanka), Vantara Vichitra Gathering (Goa), Forest Star Festival (Sweden), Masters of Puppets (Czech Rep.) and many more.

In 2014 she was asked to join Vantara Vichitra Records(India) and that marked a big turning point on her career, in 2015 she also joined Milega Records (Japan), before joining Banyan Records (Austria) a year later. 

In 2019 she worked for Masters Of Puppets Fest. in Czech Rep. co-creating the line up of Kodama Stage, in 2022 she started working as Stage Manager at Boom Festival (Portugal) and in 2023 she was asked to work as Artist Manager at WAO Festival, Italy. As of today, she begins a new journey by joining the Quadrivium Record family (France).

Galactic Groove Records present the eight edition of our mix series sets.
Here we will present Live and Dj sets from the Galactic Groove Records label artists along with some guest sets from some of our friends and favourite artists involved with other top labels in the underground psytrance scene.

For this edition we present a very special live set from our most recently signed label artist "ABSYCHO",  the forest alias of Brazilain producer Abner Simão.

This set features several unreleased tracks as well as both track from his recently released EP "Straight Outta Forest " on Galactic Groove Records, his new track soon to be released on the GGR 10 Year Anniversary VA compilation & previous releases on Visionary Shamanic Rec. Agya Sounds & Ancient Druids Rec. 

ABSYCHO is the live project of  Abner Simão, born in 1991 in São Paulo, Brazil. He got in touch with electronic music for the first time when he was 11 years old.
Since then, his interest for electronic music has been increasing. 
This interest has led him to psychedelic trance, which has become his passion.
He started playing dj-sets in 2009 and after some years he started producing his own music in 2012.
His style could be defined as deep, energetic and mindbending, with serious basslines, intense grooves and rhytms, organic atmospheres, and hi-definition sounds & has been released on several major underground psychedelic trance record labels.
He is also founder & manager of Brazilian label Agya Sounds.

In the vast universe exists a particular planet called Earth, where alien souls found themselves stranded in a terrestrial exile.

Desperate for celestial redemption, they stumbled upon a mystical dancefloor hidden deep in the heart of a forgotten forest among earthly lifeforms. Yet, it wasn't just any dance that would suffice, it had to invoke ancient rhythms from their distant origins.

As they danced, their souls soared, transcending earthly boundaries. But as the dance reached its crescendo, they woke up, realizing it was all just a dream.

Full Lotus 50th Birthday Set At Catar Records And Psychedelic Way Party,24th November 2019

Full Lotus is a Psychedelic DJ based in London and signed to Parvati Records. At the age of 12 he discovered the word 'psychedelic' whilst reading a comic and after looking up the meaning, decided that it could be fun. 

He started DJing on vinyl whilst at university playing a mixture of Alternative and Psychedelic rock and formed a student society with a focus on mainly 60's psychedelia. During this time he was exposed to underground electronic dance music from the early 90's UK scene and heard some people talking about 'Goa' parties and 'Goa' music and thought this also sounded like it could be fun.

Following a trip to Goa in late 1995, he became hooked on the music he heard at the beach parties and upon returning in early 1996, he began attending numerous Goa style parties in London. The following year he started organizing trance/techno events with a friend and started to DJ in London. In 1998 he became a resident DJ for the Kundalini party organization. This was the start of the Full Lotus project. After hearing the first Parvati Records compilation, First Step, he embraced this particular sound and became one of the first DJ’s in the UK to play it at parties.

With over thirty years of experience behind the decks, he is a regular fixture on the London psychedelic trance scene and currently plays what is known these days as dark/forest psychedelic trance or as he used to call it, twisted night time funk. His DJ sets are performed with the intention of making both your body and mind dance.
