In this episode Hypnotique Recordings presents CHYPNO. Chypno is the psytrance project of Thanasis M. from Greece. He created the project in 2018 to express his vision in psychedelic music. The concept aims to teleport the listener into various realms filled with mystical creatures and spirits that unravel and guide you through their paranormal dimensions. This live set contains tracks from his upcoming Ep 'Space Cruiser' and some other tracks that will come later this year along with a few older tracks.

"Feeling Awake" in this Parvati episode is GARNET, the result of the musical expression of Lunna Santos. Lunna began to venture into the world of electronic music in 2017 when she started attending rave parties and became interested in DJ sets at the time. In 2019, she began to look at new musical experiences and decided that it was time to take the next step and build her own sounds, so she began her studies in electronic music production, creating her Garnet project. Her sounds have strong characteristics that go through Forest and Dark but without attaching his creativity to a specific style, always providing a unique and psychedelic experience for those who listen. The live set contains tracks from Garnet's debult EP recently released at Parvati Records and her other songs.

Set I played in April 2024 in Granada. Second Spacey Forest series by Deep into the Woods crew. For this set, the last one in the party and the indoor season, I speeded things up. Ranging from 155 to 170bpm, I played @Resinarecords artists, except for the first 2 tracks, for the sake of smooth transition. From dark to fast and groovy, this is a showcase of the label style, which I love. Brazilian psytrance at its best! Thanks to all the artists involved, keep releasing the goods!!

This all new edition of Parvati Records‘ showcase will be brought to us by the Goa-born but Bombay bred freak FLIPKNOT.

The year was 1976 A.D, A comet passes by planet earth . but a minor malfunction in the ever changing climate patterns of this strange but beautiful planet causes a derailment of some inter-galatic pillon riders who had hitched themselves on the tail-end of the comet for what was gonna be a few decades of joyride,surfing around some galaxies till they get back to their normal studies in the field of galaxy domination.
One of them crash landed near small coastal town of Goa, then raised by 2 beautiful earthlings, and was christened as Brian fernandes. Slowly he learned the ways of this simple but yet complicated human race.

Soon this Goa-born but Bombay bred freak applied his cosmic algo-rhythmic knowledge to create various projects including – “Flipknot”.

Flipknot is an experi-mental avatar of Brian Fernandes aka Kerosene Club. An experiment which started as to send sound signals /codes to outer space or to other pillon riders who fell across other parts of planet earth or who maybe passing by and would raise a remote possibility of get a hitch ride back again.

Assembling and disintegrating soundwaves, balancing and disguising them as leads and fx patterns against the tempo of the beat of an excited heart to avoid getting attention from the Human race. Strangely these experiments had an adverse effect on the human race who danced and grooved to when amplified to louder decibels.,some even meditated, which bought great joy and inner peace to him.

Nowadays he is on a full time mission conducting these experiments which resulted in explosive rituals in forests,urban dancefloors, river sides and at the same time serving the purpose of sending signal codes to his fellow kind pursuing his super secret mission. He has been travelling & experimenting constantly around the world including India, Russia, Brazil, Israel, Greece, Japan, Germany, Belgium, Spain, Dubai, Nepal and other unmentionable beautiful places.

(P.S – last heard rumours about some pillon riders had crash landed in Denmark, some around scandinavian regions and one even in Japan too)

Ejczka artist & stage manager UFO BUFO festival / Urban Antidote Rec. dj
Jan Horyna alias Ejczka has been DJing and organizing gigs since 2009 and in a short time established at Czech psytrance scene. Together with DJ Plech is a member of Polyhedra crew which organizes not only at psy scene well respected multigenre audiovisual parties Der Klang at Cross club in Prague. In 2014 joined Milan Perplex`s team of famous czech Bio festival. As the artist & stage manager become part of UFO BUFO festival team in the same year. In June 2017 joined Urban Antidote Records family. His sets range from hypnotic dark psychedelic up to 160 bpm thru pure psytrance around 146-148 bpm to down trance line morning psytrance 142 bpm. Always depends on concept of party, but always keeps his sets psychedelic. Sometimes he plays b2b sets with DJ Plech (dark psychedelic) or with DJ Ondrej Psyla (Purple Hexagon Records) in morning time.  
Besides psychedelic trance he has been playing deep drum`n`bass and autonomic sound to perform actual progressive broken beatz sound - his old love for many years.

BuzZ is a Psychedelic Trance DJ and event organizer from Kobe, Japan.
Since 2006, Buzz is involved with various parties in the Kansai area, especially Osaka and Kobe. In 2014 he joined Sangoma Records and compiled the release “Tanuki Tandava” on the label in 2015. Since then he also comes to Europe annually and played at various festivals and parties such as Ozora Festival (Hungary), MoDem Festival (Croatia), Sonica Festival (Italy), PsyFi Festival (Netherlands), Kosmos Festival (Finland), Wonderland Festival (Germany), Simsalaboom (Germany), Yaga Gathering (Lithuania), Fractalia Festival (Germany), Gaggalacka Festival (Germany) Hadra Festival (France) among others. He is a regular established DJ and plays his eclectic sets all over the country. “変幻自在” Style.

BUZZ | Sangoma Records series Ep. 64 | 02/12/2020

Full Lotus is a Psychedelic DJ based in London and signed to Parvati Records. At the age of 12 he discovered the word 'psychedelic' whilst reading a comic and after looking up the meaning, decided that it could be fun. 

He started DJing on vinyl whilst at university playing a mixture of Alternative and Psychedelic rock and formed a student society with a focus on mainly 60's psychedelia. During this time he was exposed to underground electronic dance music from the early 90's UK scene and heard some people talking about 'Goa' parties and 'Goa' music and thought this also sounded like it could be fun.

Following a trip to Goa in late 1995, he became hooked on the music he heard at the beach parties and upon returning in early 1996, he began attending numerous Goa style parties in London. The following year he started organizing trance/techno events with a friend and started to DJ in London. In 1998 he became a resident DJ for the Kundalini party organization. This was the start of the Full Lotus project. After hearing the first Parvati Records compilation, First Step, he embraced this particular sound and became one of the first DJ’s in the UK to play it at parties.

With over thirty years of experience behind the decks, he is a regular fixture on the London psychedelic trance scene and currently plays what is known these days as dark/forest psychedelic trance or as he used to call it, twisted night time funk. His DJ sets are performed with the intention of making both your body and mind dance.
