"Feeling Awake" in this Parvati episode is GARNET, the result of the musical expression of Lunna Santos. Lunna began to venture into the world of electronic music in 2017 when she started attending rave parties and became interested in DJ sets at the time. In 2019, she began to look at new musical experiences and decided that it was time to take the next step and build her own sounds, so she began her studies in electronic music production, creating her Garnet project. Her sounds have strong characteristics that go through Forest and Dark but without attaching his creativity to a specific style, always providing a unique and psychedelic experience for those who listen. The live set contains tracks from Garnet's debult EP recently released at Parvati Records and her other songs.

Set I played in April 2024 in Granada. Second Spacey Forest series by Deep into the Woods crew. For this set, the last one in the party and the indoor season, I speeded things up. Ranging from 155 to 170bpm, I played @Resinarecords artists, except for the first 2 tracks, for the sake of smooth transition. From dark to fast and groovy, this is a showcase of the label style, which I love. Brazilian psytrance at its best! Thanks to all the artists involved, keep releasing the goods!!

I challenged myself to make a track in 30minutes with my modular setup and this is the result :) I really enjoyed it and will continue to see what more comes out and further see how I can develop this into 1 hour sets :)

In this month the PsyBaBas are present Deviant Force records. The first artist is MADEMOISELLE CHAOZ, who is bringing us a special set, containing tracks from the label’s releases from the past years.

Mademoiselle ChaOz was born in Munich, Germany. Her very first contact with psychedelic music was in 1997 in the legendary Natraj Temple based in Munich. Soon she discovered her passion for this kind of sound and started collecting psytrance in diverse styles and tendencies. After dancing extensively on many many nice gatherings, she experienced more and more how much energy this music can give you and how many intense feelings it can cause. So, in February 2006 she decided to try it from the other point of view – behind the decks. With her special kind of style, it is very important for her to communicate and to give back the energy the dancing crowd is transmitting as well as to make them go crazy on the dancefloor. Since 2015 she is a proud member of Munich`s Deviant Force Records, for which she is currently selecting in cooperation a compilation, that will feature some of the biggest names in the game, alongside some fresh blood. In her Radiozora show, she took duties in carefully curating a tribute set, which showcases some of her favorite tracks of the Deviant Force discography.

Mark Day Live set 2020

Full Lotus is a Psychedelic DJ based in London and signed to Parvati Records. At the age of 12 he discovered the word 'psychedelic' whilst reading a comic and after looking up the meaning, decided that it could be fun. 

He started DJing on vinyl whilst at university playing a mixture of Alternative and Psychedelic rock and formed a student society with a focus on mainly 60's psychedelia. During this time he was exposed to underground electronic dance music from the early 90's UK scene and heard some people talking about 'Goa' parties and 'Goa' music and thought this also sounded like it could be fun.

Following a trip to Goa in late 1995, he became hooked on the music he heard at the beach parties and upon returning in early 1996, he began attending numerous Goa style parties in London. The following year he started organizing trance/techno events with a friend and started to DJ in London. In 1998 he became a resident DJ for the Kundalini party organization. This was the start of the Full Lotus project. After hearing the first Parvati Records compilation, First Step, he embraced this particular sound and became one of the first DJ’s in the UK to play it at parties.

With over thirty years of experience behind the decks, he is a regular fixture on the London psychedelic trance scene and currently plays what is known these days as dark/forest psychedelic trance or as he used to call it, twisted night time funk. His DJ sets are performed with the intention of making both your body and mind dance.
