Faithful to techno since its beginnings: we welcome Ben Sims, as always, with wide open arms. The UK mainstay still has a lot under his belt and will relentlessly show you a thing or two in our latest REC series.

His two-hour set recorded in Room 01 is jam-packed with slappy kicks and a bouncy aesthetic, indissociable proof of his rave heritage — a solid deal to be listened to for all techno aficionados, past and present, without any compromise.

Adrian Sandoval has been one of the most prolific producers and DJs since the early days of techno with his moniker Developer. Hailing from Los Angeles, he gained notoriety with his residency on radio station 88.7FM kspc. He later become the import and export manager for the first dedicated techno distribution company on the west coast, « Entity Music Distribution ».

Ben Sims Mix up in Japan. June 2012

Another one from the Sims archives for the lockdown crew, don't think this went public before but i could be wrong.
It was recorded in '99, to cassette, and the tape just says 'Party Mix' on it, although i know for sure it wasn't from a party (unless just me, my bestie Sosa, Reggie Redstripe and some Benson's in the dining room of a shit house in Essex is a party..ha ha).

Anyways, it's kinda cool, lots of classics and faves amongst early Hardgroove material and standard late 90s flavoured trickery.
